Official Frozen at WDW Thread (Updated May 20th) FEA and RS Open June 21

Kenny the pirate has a full walk through of the queue for the Royal Sommerhaus on his site. Reminder no Fastpass but lines are not long. There are three rooms with Anna and Elsa so that helps with the wait. There is a tribute to maelstrom in the queue as well.

It looks "cool". I'm excited. Glad there's tribute to the trolls in Maelstrom.

Oh my gosh I almost wish I didn't know... The Summerhaus is so beautiful I kind of want to go just to see it! It'd be really tough fitting that into my ONE Epcot day though...

So the meet and greet is open today, but the ride isn't?

Pictures look beautiful!

I haven't looked at the pics because I don't want to be tempted to go!! :rotfl:

We were planning on skipping it...

There was No posted wait time today - we went about 3:00 pm. The CM said the wait was 20 minutes & she was pretty close.

The decorations are cool - very Arendale-y! Right before you get to see them, they take you into a bigger room with "3 doors" - which should hint at how many they accommodate at one time! ;)

We met a very talkative Anna & then Elsa after - they were right next to each other and each had their own photo pass photographer.

I asked about the ride and a couple CMs told me that it "wasn't ready yet" and that they have not been able to ride it yet either

It is going to be very cool - and Very Crowded - when it fully opens!

DH and I stopped to see A&E in their summer home too. It was really lovely. They stressed, both the sisters and the CM, that this is not a new house, that the girls grew up going to this house but they just recently started to visit it again.

We got there about 3:30, 3:45 with a 20 min wait posted. We were 30 min back outside. One reason was when we were waiting to go to the inner holding room, the room with 3 doors, we were the first group in line. They brought us and 2 other larger groups in. After they did their little speal and directed us to our room the other families went in before us so DH and I were last to meet them. I didn't really care as it was just us and they had kids but it did add 10, 15 min to our time. Not sure there is a way to prevent that from happening, other than courtesy by other guests. There isn't really any way to know what door you need to stand near

And when we came out they had these guys out interacting with the guests. (didn't read back to see if anyone else posted pics of them).
They were a hoot. Pretty authentic characters too. Right down to being filthy dirty, but not smelly, thank goodness. But they looked like they hadn't bathed in weeks.

My daughter and her friend had almost no wait about 7pm tonight and met Anna and Elsa. Guess the rains washed away a lot of guests.

Any word on how it is today? We're heading out there tomorrow after the princess breakfast.

We were there this morning at 9:45 and had a 0 minute wait.

The M&G opens slightly before the 9:00 rope drop, so the breakfast guests can start greeting before the 'rush,' (but there hasn't been a rush yet).

Is anyone else concerned that there have been no signs of soft openings yet for the new ride? I remember hearing about them for SDMT but I feel like they're running out of time!! I hope FEA opens soon!

Opening date is Tuesday - maybe a side opening tomorrow? Heard it was running with CMs on Friday.
