I'm flying the same route in Early February. I have to say, check your reservation (repeatedly). I was shocked the other day when I double checked my direct yeg to lax to find that it had been cancelled. I was not notified, they simply put my party on a flight to Dallas then back up to LA. Ummm, not exactly a route that makes sense. I was livid!! I phoned and they promptly moved us to another direct out of YEG leaving a little later in the day. So anyway, my advice is keep an eye on your online itinerary.

I have heard of people who used Air Miles or a similar program to book flights getting bumped many times.

I logged into the AA site today and joined AAdvantage and updated my info as well as picked our seats and have all of the confirmations.

So looks like we will be okay.

Also got our 3 Day Park Hopper passes from Flight Centre so that was the last thing we had to get for our trip.

51 days to go!!! (I'm sooooo excited..lol)

I'm thinking about going with Apple for both but I'm wondering what other people chose. IDK I would be ok with bringing both from home too but it seems like a pain with having to transport them from the airport to the resort in the rental car... thoughts....

I'm bringing our double stroller but I highly recommend City Stroller Rentals for renting. I don't know if she does scooters or not but she does a vast amount of things besides strollers and her items are clean and she's timely

We are too 2/7-10! Looks like we overlap! We are in a 1 BR at VGC. This is our only DVC resort so far and you can't beat the location! Look for us! We are fluffy size blond adults with two super blond preschoolers, a taller boy and a girl with some curls likely to be having meltdowns about anything and everything!

We will be in a 1 bdr 7-11! Our olders are super blonde, (6 and 3.5) youngest is light brown (just turned 2 on feb 4 ) we will look for you all! Oh and hubs and I are tall and darker haired

We're considering buying a cheap stroller to take with us from Australia. I know you may laugh, but we want to go to Walmart, target, etc and it's cheaper to buy a stroller there than rent one. But if you want convenience of someone dropping it off and collecting it, I'd rent. If our daughter wants to sleep at the airport, it's easier to have the stroller than sit on our lap.

Do you happen to know how easy it is to use Von's being International? Is it a site where you need to be living in the States to order from?

We reserved a stroller with city stroller rentals. We sold our double and it wasn't theme park friendly anyway. My son could go without, but since my daughter needs one, he will want it when tired. We reserved with city stroller rentals. We used them two years ago and were happy with the stroller.

We are going the last week in Feb. Right before the Castle opens back up. I'm wondering about pushing our trip ahead a week. Is it a lot busier that first week in March? What else would be opened back up as far as refurbs go? Maybe even that second week would be better? Catch WOC? Is that getting into spring break time?

Do you happen to know how easy it is to use Von's being International? Is it a site where you need to be living in the States to order from?

I'm not 100% sure, it's been a few years since I set up my account but I think I might have had to monkey around to turn my postal code into a zip code so that the site would think I was American. I can check my account when I get home later and see.

AZ spring breaks start happening the week of 3/9, 3/7 would be the first Sat of spring break season. We are early though, so I'm not sure it would be hugely crowded like closer to Easter though.

I've added that to the first page, we are going to be there the exact same dates as you! I tried to rent points to stay at the Villas but there was no availability when I checked so we are staying in a regular room at the GCH.

I've never stayed at either of the Best Westerns, which one are you guys at? There is one at 1544 S. Harbor and one at 1630 S. Harbor. Neither are very far from the entrance but one of them is right at the crosswalk!

We are there Feb 22 - 27th, We are at 1544, we have stayed hojo, Orangeland RV park a few time, but never at Best Western. It's super close to entrance.

I decided to call Disney myself because I can't find any confirmation of this anywhere but disboards. Not that I'm calling anyone else a liar, but I wanted to get the info straight from Disney.

I'm guessing the CMs are not all equally informed. The gal I talked to was super nice and said she had been given no info about it, but she'd go ask around. When she returned, she confirmed that it would be under refurbishment beginning Jan 19 but that no end date was set - that they hope to get it done quickly. She also said the gates may or may not be closed, but leaned toward closed for safety reasons.

Regarding WOC, she said there's no certainty on draining the lake. She said its happened before, but has not been confirmed, nor would it necessarily mirror the entire refurb period.

I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed - maybe they'll get it done early, maybe it won't be totally covered, maybe it won't look that bad, and most of all, maybe it won't matter (which is what I'm banking on).

Well, I can take one food thing off my list - skewers from Paradise Garden Grill. Apparently they changed their menu. And they changed it to the one from nasty Taste Pilot's Grill. Just what we need...more places that serve burgers and chicken nuggets. This makes me angry. I really wanted those skewers. They were at the top of my list.

We are bringing one of our strollers from home. We have a cheapy one that we won't be too upset if it gets damaged on the flight. We want to be able to use it at the airports. As well as to and from the hotel/parks.
