After much back and forth, we finally decided *sometime* in February will work best for our trip next year!!

Since Mardi Gras is the 12th and Pres Day is the 18th, we've pretty much ruled out the 2nd and 3rd weeks since our dates our flexible (kids are school age yet, I'm a SAHM, DH's job is flexible on vacation time time).

We are between January 28 - February 5, or February 25 - March 5. I'm not sure what would hold better crowds or if they'd be pretty on-par since Spring Break won't have started quite yet that early in March. I know our chance of warmer weather is higher with the later date. Both dates should have free dining as they have the past year or two.

WWYD between those two dates? Thoughts?

Count me in! Me and my mom will be there February 07 to 26! It'll be her first time ever overseas and my first time as an adult, since it's been 15 years I've been to Disney! I'll be 32 and she'll be 70. We're from Brazil but believe me, we couldn't be more different from "those" brazilians groups if we tried, so don't worry, we are courteous, polite and very mellow girls

Well, I think pricing just sealed the deal for us! Many of our days would be "peak" season if we do Feb/March - but all value 1 if we do Jan/Feb! January 28-February 5 - here we come Planning AoA as long as the expected free dining promo is available to people staying there!

I actually just posted a thread asking for some opinions on where to stay. I know we will stay at a moderate resort, but I'm looking at all the different options and I'm a little lost which one would work best for us. I'm leaning towards the Caribbean but I'm open to suggestions!

LucyBC80 - The only moderate we've ever done was Coronado Springs! It was really lovely, but *really* spread out and we didn't care for that too much since it was a pretty nice hike to the bus stops, El Centro, and the pool. We had a pretty 'out there' building though. The pool was wonderful and the theme was nice! If we ever do a moderate again, we'd love to try the Royal Rooms at Port Orleans!

Had to change our dates due to DH's work.... Now we'll be Feb 28-March 5

We've decided to stay at the POFQ. Instead of staying off-site then going to Disney, we are now arriving on the 7th, staying there till the 12th and then going to the Holiday Inn Nearest Universal for the remaining 15 days. President's Weekend being on the 18th, we figured out being on site at the begging of February would be our best shot and way less crowded.

We're going February 10th to 15th 2013, staying at POR. I'll have my younger DD and my 3 younger grandchildren. We have to go over Mardi Gras because schools will be out and 2 of the 3 the kids will be school aged. We just have to wait until after that Friday night (the 8th) to go, because both of my DDs are in a parade. We usually stay at Pop, but with 5 of us, a room for 5 at POR is a must.

We're almost on the one-year mark, let's celebrate!

This year I decided to make personalized autograph books for the kids! I have so many projects for this trip and I wanted to start early! I've been scouting out the perfect "blank" and stumbled upon these blank books at Hobby Lobby last night. They are heavy cardstock covers with mid-weight cardstock pages (24 total). A little personalization and we have the beginnings to the perfect books for Levi and Ava! I'm going to add their picture in the little picture window on the front!



Each page will feature a piece of 5x7 cardstock (I'll put a 4x6 print of each child with the character on that once we get home), a character embellishment, and a blank space for the character to sign!
