Yay for everyone being closer!! We are at 58 today!

So where are you all eating? We are doing Ohana(maybe), 50s PT, Le Chefs de France and Crystal Palace. I have to make 1 more ADR, but I'm not sure where yet? I have to ask my friends where they want to eat.

As of now, our ADR's are Brown Derby, Teppan Edo, O'hana, and Boma. After reading reviews, I'm not thrilled with the Brown derby selection, so that may change. And we still have one more night open and are hoping the Raglan Road joins the dining plan.

Sorry that I've been MIA lately! I'll try and catch up with everyone's posts later...(read: while I'm at work today). We are at 59 days today!! I'm getting so excited! But now, of course, I find myself second guessing all my ADR's. *sigh*

We've done The Plaza, Tusker House, Ohana and Whispering Canyon Cafe. All of them were great! I finally got a ressier for Ohana the other day!

Hi Everyone
Can I join the "Feb Gang"???
Me (Vicki), DH (Steve) and DS (Cameron) will be coming over from the UK staying at POR from 3rd - 17th Feb. It is a rescheduled trip from November this year as the DH was unexpectedly deployed overseas at short notice for 7months!!!! He is in the Royal Marines!!
It was a trip for the DS 6th birthday but of course had to be cancelled. But at least we get to go not long after Steve returns!
Steve and I have been before twice but have stayed off-site both times so this is our first on-site stay. It will be Camerons first visit although he has been to Disneyland Paris when he was 2 but doesn't remember it!!!
Anyway... we have free QSDP which suits us but we have booked one ADR which we will pay OOP for and thats at Teppan Edo.
We also have the Pirates and Pals Cruise booked as the DS is mad on all things Peter Pan & Captain Hook!
Looking forward to experiencing the magic through the eyes of a child!!

I'm counting down too! (I just found this sub board today, after planning and reading on the dis for months!)

DH, DD (8) and I will be heading down to escape Superbowl crowds that will surely be taking over our town! We'll be leaving the Thurs before the game (after work/school for DD). We'll be staying for 8 nights/9 days.

In short, we'll be at WL from 2/2 to 2/10. It'll be our first vacation in 2 years, and it's VERY MUCH needed. DH and I are getting burned out at work and need a break! Our last vacation was in Jan 2010, for our first trip as a family to WDW. It was PERFECT in every way. We know this trip won't be nearly as magical, but we're sure it'll still be amazing.

The one thing we're doing to give a little "oomph" to the magic is we're surprising DD. She has no idea that we're even going on vacation, let alone to WDW, her favorite place on earth (her words, from her "All about Me" at school). We haven't decided when, exactly, we're going to tell her, but it will either be when we pick her up from school an hour before it lets out (hoping she won't be too bummed she'll miss her girl scouts meeting that evening), or when we drive to the airport, or when we're AT the airport???

I'm super psyched for this trip. I've been reading and planning. DH thinks I have an addiction - he has no idea how bad it can get -

I've had ADRs set since Sept, then had to change them since we changed the dates of our vacation in Oct (dang superbowl was screwing up our return flight prices - $65 to fly out, and $289 to fly home? no thanks! We ended up adding a day to our resort stay and still saving $!) We'll be on free dining, regular old DDP with 1 TS, 1 CS, and 1 snack/day/guest. My ADRs:

• 1900 Park Fare - DD will receive an "invitation" from Cinderella to this dinner when we check in, just like she did last time.
• Le Cellier - late lunch so we can still use only 1 TS credit
• Sci-Fi - DH's request
• Hoop Dee Doo - Dh did this as a kid, we did it as a family last time and all had a blast. We've requested balcony seating this time, for a different view of all the action.
• Whispering Canyon - this will be on our AK (least favorite park) day. Early day back to our hotel, eat in our own lobby, and relax and enjoy a nice night "in" at our resort.
• Ohana - timed so that we can get done and down to Poly's beach and watch the EWP and Wishes from there. Our reservation is for 6:35, Wishes will be at 8? Think that's enough time?
• Les Chefs de France - timed for 30 mins before Remy comes out, so he should be stopping at our table.

Our last day, we just use up any CS that we have left. Last time we only ordered 2 at a time and split them between the 3 of us. It still left us all stuffed!

As you can see, I'm a "talker!" Sorry such a long post. It's just so great to have someone to talk to about our vacation! I can't mention it when DD is around, and DH is sick of hearing about all of it!

Sorry everybody! I was sick and then the holidays came. I'm back at work but it's hard to update here. I will do my best to update tonight!
