Our labor day trip is rebooked for Sep 25 - I am now waited for that dreadful call telling me we are losing that 35% discount permanently.

Unfortunately it will be cancelled and you will lose the discount. Thats what happened to me. I ended up cancelling all together.

ETA: As of 9/24/20, Disney cancelled on site reservations through 10/10/20, with some guests posting that they had reservations cancelled through 10/14/20.
