Official DIS Hidden Mickey FAQ Thread - With Pictures!!!

Found one (or several . . . depending on how you look at it) on my recent trip. Sorry I don't have a picture, but maybe somebody else does. If you look up at the clock tower above the WDW Railroad as you are entering the MK, there is are panels with a group of concentric circles: one large circle in the middle with several smaller ones surrounding it. It could actually make up a few HM's. Anyone else seen it?

The pictures are of Devine from the Animal Kingdom. "She's" a performance artist who's Awesome! She has stilts & kinda camouflages into the surrounding "jungle" pathway b/t Asia & Africa. I couldn't find a good description on the DIS, but here's a review from another "ear"y website! I am sure if you did a Search on the DIS, you will find plenty of posts on Devine!

Appearing since the early days of Animal Kingdom, DeVine now makes her home on the pathways between Africa and Asia. You must look carefully, or you'll end up walking right past her.

Take a moment out of your touring schedule at the Animal Kingdom to enjoy DeVine ...you'll be glad you did!

No pix of these, but I remember them being pointed out when we took our KTTK tour a few years back. The first is easy to see in HM - it isn't an official HM we were told, but something the CMs do over and over again, as it gets fixed often. It is in the dishes of the long diningroom table - I think it's the one where the ghosts are chasing each other around.

The other one I would NEVER see in a million years - not that I'm good at seeing any of them (my eyes hurt after looking at all these pictures and trying to see them!). It's in PoTC (hope it is still there - haven't been on it since the changes). When the boat turns it's last corner before the area you get off at, there is a light hanging on the left (I'm going from memory - it may be over a door or archway). It is a hanging lamp, and the shadow made by the light in the lamp on the wall is a hidden mickey. You can only see it after you have passed it and you need to look back over your left shoulder to see it.

We go back in March - if I remember, I will try to take a picture.

I never said that they are impossible to get...I was just told that they were harder to get than hidden Mickey's. Glad you have pics too. Glad IndyJammer was able to post the pics for you. I think one reason it may be harder to get her face is because she is not out all the time like most of the HM. Plus she does try to hide her face alot though...

Doh! My humblest apologies Ms. Disjointed! Those are Really good pictures - for a girl... jk - lol!!! Divine is Very hard to Photograph - when/if you can even find her! Thanks for your posts - I hope to see some more added to this thread!

Don't worry about it, a lot of people make that mistake. I guess my name sounds masculine. LOL! Anyway, I don't take many pictures of HMs so you won't see me around this thread, but I post a lot of pictures in the other picture threads.

I was looking at the Girl Scout Cookie site today to find out which ones we wanted to order from a friend's little girl when I saw the company's logo that bakes the cookies...

It's Mickey's head...lol And no there are no affliated with Disney. Strange! I say it's a hidden mickey...=o)

Here's one that's a little hard to see in my picture. It's by the Geyser out back of the Wilderness Lodge.

It's pretty much dead-center of my picture - The "ears" are dry and the face is under water!

Here's 2 my husband and I found at WL...we didn't have luck finding many more!

These two are pics of the lamps above the headboard in the WL...one with the light on, one with the light off

And then on the carpet in the hall in the WL...they appear on every other set of patterns on the carpet
