Okay, go so see it as soon as you can! I took my 13 yo nephew to see it which is a bad idea while lusting after Hugh. We both agreed it was awesome though.

And yes, I did get a new tag thanks to the I'm a BIGGER FAN of _________ THAN ANYONE ELSE on the DIS. thread. Go check it out it's really cute.

Well everyone you might have wondered where I was for a few days...well I went to the Hamptons and while I was at the beach you will never guess what washed up....(Hey Kim I really did go...and was in NJ very breifly)

Hey Kim you would at this....I go in to Sub 5th and 6th period for High School Business. And as I pull in I see 6-8 police cars, a camera man or two, and a few policemen. I begin thinking, oh there must be some kind of demonstration today. Park the car...and start walking in to the HS. PO says to me "Madam, where do you think you are going?"...I'm going in to teach 5th/6th..."No you're not-we're putting the whole school on lock down right now there's been a bomb threat...no one in or out." (this is a good school in a surburban district)..."We're going to have to get the dogs(police puppies as I call them in my mind) for the bomb sniffing." Great...I'm going to be here awhile. Well long story short- luckly everyone was ok and I finished up my 2 periods without incident. But I was thinking of you...Gee Kim must be teaching right now-and we're sitting here in lockdown.

Holy cow, that's scary. I remember having a bomb threat while I was in elementary school. I'm glad everything turned out okay.

This was the HS's 3rd in 5 years...although this was the most serious. They had 4 dogs in, and all students contained in 3 large rooms with external exits. But it was this school district's 2nd since Friday...so I think something is going on. This same district was the only wealthy school district not to pass their school budget-but who knows why it's happening.

I have to say all the students were calm and very well behaved . It went very smoothly. Even the periods after the bomb scare the kids were great. They shortened up the rest of the day, and it was fine.

They're actually really fun to make. On another board I used to frequent I was always being asked to make custom colorbars for different members. If ya ever want one made with specific pics just let me know.
