My neighbors are black and their son at 16 months is still a lot lighter than them. He was definitely not dark at birth.
Maybe they are the ones who got Gaby and Carlos' baby. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Okay.....now somebody please tell me.....where in the world was Danielle? :confused3 Um...hello?!? You're own Mother is getting married.....where was she? (or, did I miss that explanation?)
Also, I forgot to mention...did anyone else find it strange to see Susan's hair in rollers, yet look like an "any other day" hairstyle?? I only thought Lynette's hair looked a little "done up" for the wedding, while Susan's and Gabby's looked pretty much like an average day. (So, what's with the rollers Susan?? They didn't do much!) :rolleyes1

This episode was hilarious! When they showed Gabbys face I knew there was something different about the baby, LOL! Nora really gets on my nerves though!

I was wondering the same.

According to my closed captioning, Orson said "Tu me manques, Monique". I couldn't find a complete translation, but "manques" translates to "missed".

My son takes french and he said that it says "I miss you, Monique" :thumbsup2

Thanks for the translation ... I couldn't quite catch what he said. I knew it was French, but I couldn't understand him.

Wonder what all this is about!?!?!? I hope they don't leave it loose-ended like they did w/some of the other plot lines.

And, why haven't they said a word about Bree's daughter and her whereabouts!?!? What is up?

In a family where your mother is self-absorbed enough to date a man for 6 months and marry him within a week when she finds out he allegedly killed his ex-wife, do you really expect her to care if her children are at the wedding, or her parents? Her neighbors were there, what more could she want?

I'm guessing they will address "Danielle" when Andrew comes back into the storyline next week.... maybe... :scratchin

Just watched it this morning on tape.

Wish Gabby and Carlos would have shown some emotion! Some sadness at least!

Wierd weird dentist man.

Like Susan and Ian, they are cute. He is a neat guy.

Julie and Edies nephew....hmmmmm.... At least Edie will get a storyline now.

Nora is a whacko. I can understand Lynette not wanting to get in her face too much though, and deny her coming around, because you never know what people like that will do.

All in all, not bad, though I wish Bree wouldn't have gotten married already!

I think because they are going through a divorce, they are probably more relieved now that it's not theirs. Gabby said last week how she'd be a single mother raising the kid alone, spliting custody with Carlos - it wasn't what she had planned. Plus, it had been at least a year since her own baby's death and then losing out on adopting the other baby, which probably distanced her from wanting to get too attached. I think she's over the childrearing impulse for the moment.

This is a reason I'm thinking Edie is the "main character to die in a hostage situation"....she really has NO storyline...... :confused3

Just watched my DVR tonight. No one mentioned my favorite funny part yet, when Julie told Edie's nephew, ' You're not that hot!' :rotfl:

I think with Gabby and Carlos not showing immediate sadness that I could sort of relate. I think in that situation my immediate feeling would have been extreme anger just like theirs. I would have been all over that, angry, irritated, frustrated, raging mad, etc... I don't think the sadness would hit until later when you really reflect and let the anger subside a little.

All I really want to say is that :woohoo: :cheer2:  :Pinkbounc :dance3: my man is finally out of his coma!!! :goodvibes

Another week on Wisteria Lane.................

Personally, I found this episode to be a real big yawn as far as excitement goes.

This one opens with Orsen and Bree at the airport preparing to leave for their Honeymoon in Bermuda. Orsen gets up to buy a last minute latte and when he is gone, Bree just happens to catch a blurb on the news about Homeless teens featuring her no good son Andrew! The reporter reports that Andrew has an alcoholic mother that just left him on the side of the road, yadda yadda ya.
When Orsen returns with the 2 beverages, Bree informs him that they will have to cancel the non refundable honeymoon as she needs to find her son.

Meanwhile back on Wisteria Lane, Lynette and Gaby were packing their bags for a going away trip to a spa.
Susan was going away to the mountains with Ian.
Bree was frantically trying to locate Andrew. And Oh, Miss Danielle is back from her unexplained absence-complaining as usual. Bree confesses to Orsen that she had left Andrew on the side of the road and he then tries to comfort her.

Gaby and Lynette are getting a soothing massage at the spa when Gaby's cell goes off. Lynette doesn't want Gaby to answer the phone, but she does.
Guess who? Lynettes DH Tom who has taken their brats camping and whalah! has taken to throwing out his back! :rolleyes1 This storlyline aggravates me as this character is being a real jerk this season and it's getting old.

Susan and Ian are up in the mountains at a spacious cabin. Seems Susie and her hospital chum both found the Samsonite Luggage sale as they apparently have matching luggage!
When Susan hits the guest room to unpack, she inadvertantly opens up Ians bag to find a string of condoms-seems Ian had a LOT of exercise plans for this visit!

Lynette arrives back home from her spa visit in a cab to find Nora waiting to go save Tom. Lynette tries to tell Nora that she isn't needed for the tagalong, but Nora is having none of this and insists on going.
What a push over the writers have turned Lynette into. Another yawn.

Now that Lynette has ditched out on Gaby, Gaby finds herself eating at the spa restaurant alone. She starts to see happy couples everywhere and while walking through the hotel grounds, stumbles upon her old affair flame John.
John is looking a bit older now and clearly landscaping yards have paid off for him as he is now wearing a fancy set of clothes instead of grungy shorts.

Cut to the frantic Bree searching the streets for her missing son Andrew. She runs into someone that tells her to check the soup kitchen a few streets away.

Susan and Ian start to cuddle by the cabins fireplace. They are apparently getting to know each other as Ian tells Susie that he has only "been" with his comatose wife, then Ian suddenly asks Susan how many she has been with.
Susan throws out the number 9 and then decides 11 was the real number of past lovers she has had. This results in the required storming from the room as Susan is now clearly frustrated. (as are we all now. add another yawn)

Gaby and John are now strolling through the hotels gardens. Seems John's Landscaping business took off when the hotel chain decided that he had the green thumb they were looking for. Oh and the Garden channel has shown an interest in him having a Garden Show on their channel as well. WoW.
When Gabby tells John that she is getting divorced from Carlos, he starts to leave the garden. Gaby draws John close to her and plants a big fat kiss on his lips.

Lynette and Nora are in the car driving up to rescue Tom. Nora is clearly NOT the welcome car companion as they are once again bickering. Susan tells Nora that she is "colorful" and that maybe Nora would benefit from medication.
This results in Nora grabbing the steering wheel causing Lynette to swerve the car. When Lynette objects, tehy begin to fight louder. Nora eventually screams at Lynette to pull over, where Nora conveniently finds a waiting trucker to hitch a ride with. Good. Let her go. Crazy broad. :rolleyes1

Meanwhile over at the Meyer household, Julie is working on her Science project resulting in a power blow out. She goes next door to Edie's only to find a shirtless Austin drinking a beer in his boxer shorts. He will come see what the problem is with the power outage.

Back at the cabin, Ian knocks on Susan's bedroom door. He then apologizes for upsetting her earlier. Susan sits up and they start kissing, then arguing, and Susan ends up tossing him back out of the room.

Cut to the frantic Bree visiting a soup kitchen in the ongoing hunt for Andrew.
Andrew spots his mother looking for him and tries to leave the line, only to run directly into Mommy where lovely sentiments were exchanged.
Andrew takes off in the dark of night.

A now happy to be alone Lynette is travelling alone. But, not for long as she suddenly spots a dishevelled Nora on the side of the road. Seems the trucker tossed her out of the truck after Nora chose to hit said trucker with a Bong when he tried to get fiesty with her.
Lynette and Nora have a little talk and Nora informs Lynette that she once tried to commit suicide and when Lynette made those comments to her before, they were upsetting. Nora also tells Lynette that Tom hates the advertising business.

Edie comes over to Susan's house and finds Austin and Julie in the closet fixing the power failure., Edie reads more into the situation and after sending Austin home, tells Julie to stay away from her nephew. After some silly comment about "bad girls" Edie leaves.

Meantime, Gaby and John have found their way to Johns hotel room as well as the bed. When Johns fiancee that Gaby didn't know about calls John to inform him that she is at the hotel, John tosses Gaby off the bed where a furious Gaby is then told to get dressed.
By then, the fiancee has shown up at the door. Gaby wants to know all about the blushing bride-seems her Daddy owns all the hotels that John works for and he is not going to forfeit a good thing with this girl and that's that.
When John opens the door, we see a blond that looks a lot like Gaby standing there. Oh Oh.
A flustered John now decides he needs to take his broken suitcase downstairs as the zipper is stuck. After making a bunch of excuses, he discards said suitcase in an elevator. Fiance Tammy lures John away from his bag when the elevator door closes................. :lmao:
Next we see Gaby crawling from the bag in front of an incredulous couple who have boarded the otherwise empty elevator car. Gaby tells them "Don't laugh, I saved a bunch of money on airfare" and promptly exits the elevator.

Next we hear Ian playing the piano. Every mountain cabin needs one of these, no? Ian apologizes to Susan, they kiss and the scene ends.

Bree is in her yard planting flowers. Orsen tells her that Bree did what she had to do with Andrew. When Orsen sees how upset Bree is, he decides to go find Andrew.

John sees Gaby the next morning and gives her back the watch that she has left behind in his hotel room. When Gaby comes back onto John about the 2 of them resuming their affair, John tells Gaby NO that he is in love with his fiancee and that he is not interested. He leaves a sad Gaby and walks away.

Orsen has found Andrew and is buying him lunch. He also gives Andrew more money and informs Andrew that Bree doesn't know he has gone to find him.
Whatever Orsen said to Andrew must have gotten through to him as we will eventually see Andrew back on Bree's doorstop.

Lynette and Tom are now back in the car on the way home from the disasterous camping fiasco. The kids are remarkably quiet in this scene and despite the fact they are all in a smallish car, they are never even seen!!! :rolleyes1 :confused3 Maybe Lynette stashed them all in the trunk.

Edie has now turned up at the hospital in search for her CD player that Susan has taken up to Mike. Mike as you remember is in a coma. After Edie takes a peek under Mike's blanket, she grabd the CD player, and a box of candies and heads for the door. When Edie turns around, we see Mike has now opened his eyes.

Next weeks show looks to be actually good.

Susan finds out that Mike is awake.
Edie decides to tell Mike about Susan.
Orsen tells Bree things about Andrew.
Carlos informs Gaby that he is moving back into the house!
:lmao:

Cut to the frantic Bree searching the streets for her missing son Andrew. She runs into someone that tells her to check the soup kitchen a few streets away.
this was the best scene.....a black transvestite named Pearly Gates :lmao: 'you can't get to heaven without me'

Great job (as usual) ChristmasElf. A couple things I saw and thought should be added:

In the scene with Ian and Susan mixing up their bags, after Susan opens Ian's bag and find condoms, Ian opens Susan's bag and finds a sexy negligee.

As Bree and Orson are rushing out the door to find Andrew, Danielle says something like "You don't even care that my boyfriend was shot dead by the police right in front of me". Orson stops short and looks at Bree in shock and Bree says they will talk about this later.

On the trip up to pick up Tom, Nora tells Lynette that Tom told her that he HATES advertising. Lynette realizes that is why Tom hasn't found a job yet. On the way back, Lynette tells Tom to look for something different for work.

While I agree this episode was a bit duller than most, it sets things up for some good things to come in the future. Jay

Forgot about Pearly Gates - Loved the look on Bree's face when she tapped her on her shoulder and said "excuse me" and Pearly turned around. Bree stumbled a little and said "Excuse me miss, I am looking for my son". :rotfl:

I agree, I thought it was only a so-so episode. I thought it was ridiculous that Tom took 5 kids camping by himself--and 8 hours away?!?!?! And shouldn't he have called 911 since he couldn't move and Lynette was more than 8 hours away? I know it's tv but that was completely beyond the realm of possibility.
