So all we know about Orson so far is that he likes to make friends with women from mental institutions I can't wait to find out why he visits that woman

I wonder what Zack is going to do with all those millions?

I wonder who's going to move into the Applewhite's house?

And how about Carlos and Charmaine? This should get real interesting. My guess (and I've never been right) is that she will fall in love with the baby and want to keep it or she doesn't quite understand what a surrogate is.

Call me crazy but I thought Gabby would catch Charmaine with the sleazy gardner. I mean let's face it, Charmaine isn't too stable

Not sure about Carlo's and the maid - too creepy. But I think his line about how he can't hire anyone who does not want to sleep with someone from his house was too funny.

In a sense there were 6 "dead or dying" characters that appeared on last nights show, though some were already "killed off", and not all were major characters.

Mary Alice, Rex, Matthew, Ralph, Noah, and the girl that Matthew killed. Obviously not all their story lines have ended, as Mary Alice still "ghost hosts."

It is hard to know if these are the 6 deaths alluded to, or if they meant those characters permanently leaving the show...the Applewhites, Ralph, Noah, etc.

I don't think we've seen the last of Felicia...but her storyline line may be on hiatus for a while, along with the storylines of Paul Young, Andrew, and (possibly) Edie.

I dont think we have seen the last of Felicia either. I cant wait until she comes out of hiding. She is a cool character for the show.

Carlos is hot and I would be seriously sad if he didnt stay on the show.

I just felt "let down" with the whole Tom/Lynette story. It doesnt feel like its finished or something.

They were saying on the radio this morning that Desperate Housewives is recognizing that they let the show get way off track this season and they are going to attempt to bring it back to it's first season glory next year. So last night was a 2 hour repositioning to try and get the storylines where they need to be.

The Applewhite thing - what teenage girl would ask a boyfriend/ex-boyfriend to meet her at a lumberyard??? That was just weird. I just can't see this going anywhere and hopefully the family will just go away. Other than Bree's daughter, the Applewhite's never fit in or interacted with anybody else in the neighborhood. Why were they ever there?

The Dentist thing looks weird and promising. That guy has freak-o-rama written all over him and he is now tying his character in to Susan, Bree, and Mike so I guess he's going to be around for awhile. But still, Bree's husband has only been dead for a year and this would be her 3rd serious boyfriend. Maybe they can find something else for Bree to do next year other than date.

Lynette's storyline. I love the new girl. She is like the anti-Lynette. For awhile I thought they were leading up to Lynette getting pregnant again. I think that'd really send her over the edge.

Gabby/Carlos - I asked my husbands POV:

I think Gabby told it to him once, "Honey, I'm a pretty girl and pretty girls ALWAYS have other options."

Some hard things to believe here. It seems to me like the Carlos/Gaby/Xiou Mai storyline, the Bree storyline, and the Applewhites have been the hardest things for me to buy into this season.

Several episodes back, Susan went to the movies, by herself, and saw Mike there on a date. She didn't want him to see her there all by herself, so she sat next to a guy that was there and said "Please pretend you're my boyfriend" or something like that. Anyway, that was him...

Charmain is a totally different spelling.

Sounds like "charmain" but spelled "xiou-mei"...yes, Solices' housekeeper/"oven"

AND, ya know what else.......as Toby's Friend put it.....they DO need to get back to the "roots" of DH.... the whole show is based on these "housewives" who are such great friends....I wish they would keep their weekly poker afternoons in the script...or just having them get together and talk over coffee or iced tea (or whatever it is they drink)...that was one thing I thought made this show "special"...the fact these 4 (5 if ya count Edie) friends kept in touch daily/weekly with each other....they really need to get back to that!

He was in prison, the same one as Mike. Mike will eventually remember him, which is why he tried to kill him.

I don't think Orson was a dentist in the prison, I think he was just another inmate, but what is his crime??? Something against women I think.

I think the lady he is visiting was maybe a victim of his. The way he said Bree's name really creeped me out and he used her full name too.

I've been following this thread all season and just now am responding! Did any of you take a survey on Desparate Housewives? I did about 5 weeks ago and it asked all kinds of questions. I can't disclose the questions, but boy were there a lot of question on which direction the show should go, how I liked it, etc...............

I liked the ending, although just like a good ending should, it left me with a whole lot of questions!!!!!!!

That's right!! I was trying to remember where I had seen him before in the storyline and was pulling a blank!

I'm glad to see the Applewhites go. (Even though I LOVE Alfie Woodard!) The story line just never interested me once I knew who was in the basement.

I agree, I'd like to see them get back to the roots of the original season!

Alfre Woodard was on the View several months ago and was talking about how excited she was to be joining the cast of Desperate Housewives. At that time she said she was hoping it would be a long term role, she must not be too happy with the way the storyline ended up. She never really had a connection to any of the other stories, she had no career to go off to, no love interest on the show either.

Very interesting night last night. I learned that Eva Longoria is HOT when she is angry!

Where was Edie last night? I at least wanted to see her in the hostpital or something. Maybe she will die in the hospital?

I will miss the Applewhites, they added weirdness to the show. Felicia will be back, she is too funny to get rid of.

So many questions.....and my luck will be that Season 3 premiere will be when we leave on our cruise in September. That is when it premiered last September and we're cruising the same week this year.
