just checked and my same 3 ADRS are showing up, but the other 4 are missing still. i even tried typing in the confirmation #s and they don't show up. I'll probably call tomorrow night or Friday to confirm, but i am not too worried. Since i have the numbers, come hell or high water, they WILL honor them or get a major hissy fit! :lmao::rotfl:

woo hoo! love Mickey Mail- i don't think i get any anymore though- does anyone know if DVC sends something right before? I got a confirmation letter when we booked of course (DVC), but not sure they send anything else later like Mickey Mail!

unfortunately there is no Mickey Mail for us DVC members :sad1: ! I do love getting that confirmation letter.. DF commented on what lovely paper it's printed on last time we got one in the mail!

You will get DME mail, if you're using that.. and DVC can use the online check-in (go to dvcmember.com) :thumbsup2

7 weeks today.. and DF & I will be in the Big Apple.. just 3 sleeps aways from seeing Mickey!! :cheer2:

Hope everybody is over strep by then, sounds like a good time!

We are staying at POFQ Dec 19-24. I am going with my mom and her best friend who is turning 75. Mom is going thru chemo right now, but is done the end of October. I am getting really nervous about taking her if she is weak. I understand that I can get wheelchair at resort if they have any left and rent at park if not. Anyone used this service? It says parks can run out and then what woud I do?

There are a few services you can call and rent from, but keep in mind, you would have manage getting the wheelchair on and off buses, monorails etc. If she could manage around the resort and just need it for the park, then renting at the park is an option. I would doubt they would run out of chairs in early Dec, but since you are going during a busy time, you would want to be sure you get there early to get one just in case.

Actually, dealing with buses and monorails is not too difficult. All the buses have wheelchair lifts, and wheelchairs and their parties are boarded first. There are elevators to the monorails if no one wants to do the ramps. If your mom needs a chair, I'd rent the ECV from one of the businessses that deliver to the resorts. I would hate to worry that there wouldn't be one at the park. That way, Mom won't have to stand to wait for buses or monorails either.

We are at Tusker House at 12:00. Are you doing the Finding Nemo tickets?

No. We are still unsure about certain things due to the scheduling of two couples. Also, I have foot problems and we have limited my walking (touring) schedule. There's a lot of things I'm going to miss out on, but my goal for this trip is to catch things I've missed in the last 6 years. I'll probably just add that to my list of things to do on our next trip.

Dancing the 50 day dance! (or 49 days, 22 hours and 16 mins. depending on which counter I look at) AND it's my birthday too! 46 today - wish I had 46 days left. :rotfl2:
:banana::banana:party::dancer::dancer:party::banana::banana:

Happy Birthday!!! I also agree with PoppyGirl. I am also 46 but the other day I had to ask my husband how old I was.:confused3 He said "9 months younger than me!" I then had to ask how old he was!!!:lmao: It honestly takes me a minute or two to remember how old I am!:rolleyes1 Of course Hubby says if I'd quit lying about my real age I'd remember it!:scared1:

Still after today's "upgrade" none of our 26 ADRs are on-line. Called and was again assured they are in the system and will show up on-line. Asked for an e-mail to confirm that in writing, but was told that couldn't be done. Told the CM that when the original 26 show up on-line, we would cancel the 26 back up ADRs we have made. Until then we have 52 ADR's (I hope).
By the way, today is 59 days!!!!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I am thinking that we might be able to remember simple things like our ages if we dump out all Disney stuff crammed into our brains..:confused3..nahhhhhh! Age ignorance is bliss :cool1:

All we really need to remember are major holidays - Halloween - Thanksgiving - DISNEY!!! :santa:

Has anyone been to Ice or planning on going this year? I am thinking about it but not sure if its worth the price. For Ice and Snow its around $30 per adult and 20 something for kids.

What to do what to do?

well i will go home and just stare at my confirmation letter then, it will have to do. :rotfl: That is one of the things i hate about DVC, you sort of miss out on some of the other fun stuff like mickey mail. of course i do love getting my DVC mail and stuff from time to time- like postcards on Aulani etc.

sorry to hear about your foot! sometimes slowing down is good too, i realized that on my most recent DL trip with my mom- saw things i never stopped to see before. ;)

happy birthday!!! i do the same thing, i can never remember if i am 35, 36 or 37. luckily DH just turned 39 in august (and i am 2 years, 10 days younger), so now i can keep it straight - i am 37! funny how we get confused, but i do it too! maybe it isn't confusion, maybe i am avoiding getting older? :confused3:rotfl:

I haven't seen it yet, but we have a Gaylord here in Dallas and they do it here. DH's company held their holiday party there one year and it took us 2 hours to go 10 miles, the traffic was so horrible for ICE. We vowed to never go back after that. :confused3:rotfl2: The Orlando Gaylord is very nice too and worth a visit sometime (great martini bar)- i've stayed there many times.

oh and so my son is obsessed with trash. here is the trash can costume we have started for him- still has some work to be done on it.

That is SUPER creative!! Love it!!

DS is Dastan from Prince of Persia and DD is a girly devil. I bought the least skanky-looking costume for her age. Plus she has a l/s, red bodysuit that she WILL be wearing underneath while out ToT'ing.

BTW.....

50 Days!!!!
