Ok you guys have forced me to do a trip reportI know! Once you start reading them it's addictive! And then you want to join the club!
Yes! I do know EXACTLY what you mean. I get a little jealous of the people who have 27 pages of replies to their trip reports! But it is fun to write one.
We are considering adding on an additional day to our holiday WDW Christmas vacation in order to add on the Very Merry Christmas Party. Is it worth the extra hotel expense + the party tickets???
Or, would you add on the dessert party for the family at the end of the trip for the last night?

I've only ever been to one party (Pirate and Princess) but I can tell you that it was the highlight of our trip. We loved it! And the kids still talk about it. I agree with the PP who said that adding a day is always a good idea!
i don't have a lot of readers for mine, or atleast not a ton that post, but that's okay, i do it for myself too- for the memory!! start one, i am subscribed to quite a few and will add you to the list. i only get to catch up on them about once a week, but i always try and post when i do on them!

Ok, so I'm seeing all these Pre-Trip Reports which will lead to Trip reports (I assume unless people are sadistic and detail the lead in but not the actual event). So I start to wonder if I should be writing something but I can't imagine that I can write anything that people would actually want to read.
I was thinking of kind of doing a live trip report/daily updates/Q&Abut do I need to do a PTR first? And if I do any of these things will anyone even read them and if they do will they then die of boredom or scratch a hole in their heads trying to figure out my weird sense of humor?
Can someone set me straight on trip writing protocolor just confirm that I would be writing the report for an audience of 1 and don't bother?
I keep telling my friends about my report and making them sit and read it with me....of course, if they aren't Disney nuts like me they sort of just tolerate me and don't think I'm nearly as entertaining as I think I am....

I say go for it! That's how people get to know you. And even if you just do it for yourself, it's still fun!

We did a lot together but we also split up sometimes and did our own thing. We did plan most of our ADRs together. My friend has been to WDW tons of times, so she let me pick all the restaurants. It was so much fun to see people we knew and loved in a place we loved! 
For our 2009 WDW/Cruise trip, we went with friends. It was the BEST time!
I decided to do a PTR because we are riding the train for the first time and I have seen lots of questions being asked about this here on DISboards! I just started it last night and will continue to post! Please come join me! 
I'm learning new information every day! 
At least it helps pass the time away!
