I am so jealous I still have a week I think before I can do the double digit dance. I'm kinda bummed right now though. I need to head to the doctors when the kids go back to school next week to have my shoulder looked at. I hurt it last week playing on the floor with my neices while I got the rare occasion of babysitting them both. I thought at fist that it was a muscle but nope I'm thinking its my rotator cuff or since I've been having some problems with my neck a spinal thing. DH is laughing at me because I am worried how it will affect our Disney trip forget everyday life and taking care of 3 kids I don't want it to mess up my WDW vacation.

I totally understand....two years ago I devolped some strange symptoms so the dr sent me to a neurologist who sent me to a neurosurgeon. Apparently my spinal column came out of the spinal column so I was told I could not pick up anything including my grandkids, have a car accident or fall because it could be very serious even fatal. Other than not picking up the grandkids my main concern was the rides at disney. After the neuro surgeon stopped laughing he told me I only had to wait six months to ride what ever I wanted to. So since than I have gone and rode it all---well except the dinosour ride because I was a little leary of that one but every other ride was fantastic! I do have standards when it comes to what is important and they are God, family, others and DISNEY!!! :)

We are still at about 110 days, but that gives me more time to plan

We have added Garden Grill on 12/24 at 6:40pm, finally found a time open so we wouldn't miss Illuminations.

OUCH I can't imagine how painful that must have been!!!! My first reaction when my DH had surgery on Monday for his kidney stone was, "Um, we're going to be okay for Disney, right?" He gave me a withering look...

That definatly sounds painful!! Dh had to have major back surgery about 7 years ago and is finally able to ride some rides. He was scared to death to do anything for awhile. He did ride dinosaur which shocked me and he said it was a little rough for him so now he will wait ourside with our youngest 2 while me and our oldest ride it in fear LOL.

Hopefully they will tell me its nothing major but I just hope the pain goes away soon and I am actually able to use my arm again soon. I can't life anything without pain and I can't move my arm certain ways at all. Oh well I will be at WDW no matter what.

Boy, that was some work to get a CP Package! :santa:
Now, that I have that, I've updated my ADR's. Here are the two that changed:
Dec 23 (dropped TE) Le Cellier 6pm
Dec 24 got CPP at Teppan Edo 4:10pm

Dec 28 you have me down at Akershus, but we are actually doing it on Dec 29th.
Thanks!

I added cape may breakfast on the 17th

I am trying to decide if we want to add a day to the start of our trip. Leave atlanta on the 16th and drive the whole way. Stay at POR that night checking in late with sleeping kids and start the day with breakfast at Cape May at which time we will let the kids in on the surprise.

OR find an offsite hotel for the night of the 16th and drive going to Cape May for breakfast

Today is day 100, which means tomorrow will be the double dance day!!!!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1: Can;t wait. We live about 2 hours north of atlanta and have decided to leave a day early around 10 or 11 in the am. get in around 7 or 8 and chill out around the hotel. It will give us an extra day of dining credits and a chance to unwind from the trip.

For those who will be in MK on the 16th, if you love Dole Whips and would love to meet some Dis'ers, Tinkermom76 organized the following thread....

Dole Whip Meet

My DH will be headed your way this weekend. He going to the Ga. Dome to see the Tar Heels play LSU. Unfortunately, our Heels are having some issues this year. :headache: But, hopefully he and his buddies will have fun anyway.

12/12
7:00am Chef Mickey
1:45pm LeCellier (CP package--5:15 showing)
 We are eating at the same places at different times! We'll just miss each other.

Ours are:
Chef Mickey's at 9:25 am
and
Le Cellier at 4:20 pm

Bummer! :sad2:

I'm kinda bummed right now though. I need to head to the doctors when the kids go back to school next week to have my shoulder looked at.

DH is laughing at me because I am worried how it will affect our Disney trip forget everyday life and taking care of 3 kids I don't want it to mess up my WDW vacation.
Oh no! I hope it is just something minor, but I'd get it looked at for sure. You don't want to wait too long and end up in pain at Disney.

I know exactly how you feel. The only reason we are going in December is because I had emergency surgery when we were supposed to go in June. I got sick as we were packing. :headache:

Hi! :)

We are making our 2nd trip to WDW, arriving 9am on Fri., Dec. 10 and staying through Sat., Dec. 18th! :santa: We thought of switching resorts, but we've decided to just "move in" to the Wilderness Lodge for the whole trip.

Truly, Disneyland is our "home away from home" but we are definitely looking forward to this Disney adventure. Our dd princess: turns 18 on Dec 2, and will be graduating in the Spring, and our ds pirate: just started high school! Crazy fast time does fly!! They are such amazing kids :)

Here are our ADRs... kind of became overwhelmed with this process! Worried that I missed out on something... but realized, why stress?? IT"S WDW AT CHRISTMAS!!! :woohoo:

12/10 Whispering Canyon Cafe 6:15pm
12/11 Cinderella's Royal Table 10am
12/12 Coral Reef 5pm for Candle Processional at 8:15 (sooo looking forwad to seeing this and hearing Steven Curtis Chapman!)
12/13 Liberty Tree Tavern 7:45pm
12/14 MVMCP :santa:
12/15 Mama Melrose 3:10 for FP
12/16 Ohana 9:45pm

We have one more ADR to make, but not sure which one? We are usually such "no planners" that I have no idea what we're going to want to eat on the 17th! :) Do you know if one needs to make ADR's to Wolfgang? Thinking maybe that could be our last ADR?? :)

Anyway... this is a fun thread! :yay:

I wish you well with your shoulder. Last Spring as I was planning our May trip taking our two oldest grand daughters on their first trip to WDW my left shoulder began giving me problems. My internist sent me to PT which helped a little but not enough. He then sent me to an orthopedic surgeon who ordered an MRI. That showed a torn rotator cuff (about 5 weeks before our trip.) He told me I could still go on the trip, just not to carry anything heavy with that arm. I had surgery two weeks after we arrived back home from a wonderful trip. After 3 weeks I was ready for PT again and six weeks later I was 85 -90% recovered. I'm sure you're younger than me if you have 3 kids to still take care of so you should do fine if you follow doctor's directions. :goodvibes

Okay, I think I've finalized our ADRs - here's what we are looking at

December 3 - Plaza (Lunch OOP), Grand Floridian Cafe Dinner (TS)
December 4 - Via Napoli (Dinner TS)
December 5 - Le Cellier (Dinner TS)
December 6 - Crystal Palace (Lunch TS - might try and switch this to a bfast)
December 7 - Boma (Breakfast TS)
December 8 - Akershus (Breakfast TS)
December 9 - Sci-Fi (Lunch TS)
December 10 - 'Ohana (Dinner TS)
December 11 - Les Chefs de France (CP Dinner Package)
December 12 - Tony's (Dinner TS)

I'm really excited b/c my grandparents are going with us and they have never experienced Disney Dining - I think Grandpa will be pretty happy when he realizes he gets dessert twice a day!

We will be there the same time!!! BUmmer we dont have any ADR's at the same time!

Where you staying?

don't you hate that part of DVC......oh well! :rotfl:;)

yah its a small bummer. we never really worried about it.. because I always traveled with a cast member or AP holder and even DVC gets some discounts. No biggie though. This is my first time on DDP. And Im excited!!!
