**Official December 2010 Thread!!** - PART 2!

I am so, I don't even know mad upset one of them. I ordered shirts to be made for us to wear on Christmas day at WDW. I was so excited. Sent the check a month ago. It was cashed on the 12th cleared on the 15th. Kinda forgot about it with Thanksgiving emailed on Nov 30. Heard back on Dec 1 with oh yeah what sizes do you need again??!!!?? Sent message with sizes and asked if threy would be done and to me by 16th in another email and have heard NOTHING back yet!! I want to scream. Hopefully I will hear something after I email YET again!

once again I tried online check in and it says not available, try again later? anyone else having this problem?:confused3

ME line was insane. Like absoultely insane. Makes me glad we have a rental. Just leaving the airport now! Hope everyone arriving today makes it safe!

Thanks for the heads up!! :goodvibes We arrive tomorrow morning so I'll warn my boys ahead of time that there's going to be a wait.

Woohoo! At this time in 12 days we will be almost ready to land in Minneapolis for our connection to Orlando. I took our dog to the kennel today for a practice run and I just picked him back up about an hour ago. He is not used to a doggy door as he usually just "tells" one of us when he needs to go and we open the sliding door, put him on his leash, and away he goes. They even tried pinning up the doggy door for awhile but I guess he did not leave his kennel the whole time and when one of the workers tried getting him to come out, even enticing him with one of his toys he just growled at her. We are going to be so worried about him during our trip he will probably lose at least a pound along with a ton of hair, but hopefully since he will be there longer he will eventually realize that he should make the best of the situation. We usually have him stay with my aunt since he protects her like he protects us at home and he gets along fairly well with her cat, but she recently got a puppy and Cooper did not exactly like having a different puppy around when we were camping this summer and my aunt really wouldn't be able to break up a dog fight. :sad2:

So anyways...Finals start next week and I don't really have any traditional finals just some normal essay questions for 2 classes and a presentation in another so next week will be a fairly easy week. Will also have at least two chiropractor appointments next week and will probably go in the day before we leave and the day after we get back. Then a week and a half after we get back I start my student teaching seminar and then it looks like I will be heading to live with my aunt and uncle for a few months while I student teach in my mom's hometown (even though she lived on a farm) which is only about 9 miles from where I was born and about an hour and fifteen minutes from where we live now so I can come home on the weekends if I want to. :cutie:

Mom and I are planning on going christmas shopping tonight which reminds me I need to go try on my capris to see if I need to get another pair, but I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing jeans most of the vacation. We live in North Dakota so we are used to very cold weather we had a high of 21 today and the forecast calls for a high of 0 the next two days so I'm sure Florida will not be any worse. So I say Bring It On! :cheer2:

Good goodness! I should really be doing more. Your guys are so organized!! So far, all I did was confirm with Geico that Im covered for my rental car and did the pre-check in for Alamo (glad I rented a car also!) :surfweb:

Ok, going to try and tackle online check in, and see if I can grab a couple of more ADRs :cheer2:

*Surprise* My boss gave me my yearly bonus early! I didn't even think we were getting one this year because its never a guarantee, but so happy and right on time!

Congratulations on your bonus! I'm really hoping DH's boss gives him his bonus (if he gets one) before we leave on the 22nd! I'm a teacher, so no bonus here - but that's okay, I love my job anyway! :)

I totally agree - it's been so cold here in Vermont, this morning it was -3F!!! 50 degrees looks pretty darn good right now! :)

Yes. I am having the exact same problem. I have never been able to access my reservation online. I can with the dining ressies but not my package. I'm calling in the morning before we leave to make sure it's all okay.

Ok, did my Online reservation and no issue. The first time it didn't let me through, then I did my last name in all caps and went through fine. Ok, one task down - about 1,453,345 tasks to go.

I just tried that trick and it still wouldn't work for me. I'm nervous. I am definitely calling in the morning to make sure my reservation didn't get "lost."

We got an e-mail from Disney Destinations with our reservation info saying we have 4 day hoppers...but we actually paid for 5 days. I checked the reservation through www.disneyworld.com and it has the 5 day hoppers. I'm not going to get too worried about it but I will probably make them confirm the 5 day hoppers at least 3 times when we check in at the desk!
I'm a down-to-the-minute-planner, so waiting around for them to fix my KTTW issues at guest services would send me into a tizzy!
:upsidedow

Vickis3js, I hope you get your shirts in time! I'm a crafter and I'm notorious for putting things off until the last minute, but I've always met the deadline. Hopefully your lady works well under pressure too! If not, make sure she knows they need to be sent straight to your resort.
:cheer2:

I'll follow you! I'll be tweeting from the parks as well, from 12/25-12/29! :thumbsup2
