**Official December 2010 Thread!!** - PART 2!

I can't believe I just now found this thread! We leave one week from today - a group of 31 staying at BLT! Our gift to the family for Christmas. Can't wait. We saw the shirt design that we are all wearing for one day for our pictures this evening and they are so cute! All of us are flying in on the 16th - except for my son and his family. They are driving down from MS with the granddaughters. One family group is coming from California. Some have never flown, some have never been out of Oklahoma!

Can I say how excited we all are! I guess that's why I haven't found this thread - we have been too busy to be on here!

I don't like driving on long road trips. I let Alan drive and I do the navigating. We are going back to Disney in May and we are driving that trip (unless I can find cheap airfare). I was just joking with him about how I'd help him drive on our next trip.

"Yeah, I'll get us out of the neighborhood and up to the McDonalds for breakfast and then you can drive from there"

Am I the only one with only a few days before leaving for WDW and have done nothing but... ??

I have to work every day until we leave, but I have to find the time and energy to get things done!!! Happy travels for all of you on your way! Hopefully we will see you there in a few days!

Sadly, you are not alone! We are leaving in two hours and I am STILL packing. I'm waiting for the last load (of 7!! ) to finish in the dryer so I can pack that stuff. I still have to clean my car out so we can load it up and take off! I can't wait to actually be there so I can take a nap and then go eat at Via Napoli.

At the airport security was a breeze guess it is random for the additional checks. Should be boarding in 30 minutes. Then it is nappy time if I can sleep, just really excited to see Disney again at Christmas time!

I'm jealous of everyone that is leaving . However, have safe travels and don't forget to make a trip report when you get back.

My to do list between now and when we leave the morning of the 23rd

My to do list for the next few days

Today: Shop for my friend's son's birthday present, book the hotel for down in San Antonio, bake some cookies, call Airtran to make wheelchair arrangements for our flight

Saturday - Leave bright and early for San Antonio, enjoy the party with friend and her son, go out to eat that night before heading back to hotel

Sunday - Leave to come home, continue cleaning the house, call my mom to wish her a happy birthday

Monday - Packing list for our trip, laundry, refill medications so I have enough for while we are gone, more cleaning

Tuesday - RELAX

Wednesday - Lizzy to vet for her bordetella shot (needs it in order to be boarded while we are gone), ship box off to Disney World so we have stuff at the resort (less to cram in a suitcase)

Friday - Start packing

Saturday - Manicure, pedicure, and wax

Day before we leave - take Lizzy to Pet hotel, make sure we have everything packed, online check in for flight, shower, and to bed early

Departure day - Up at 430am, out the door by 515 and to the airport by 6, flight leaves around 8.

Oh and I am taking my laptop with me along with the USB chord to my digital camera so you guys will get pictures while I'm there

Last day at work!

Tonight I clean the bathrooms so I can come back to a clean house, rearrange what I've packed - it was based on a warmer forecast - and finish up the laundry. Hair appointment tomorrow, finish packing and cleaning. Then Sunday, it's off to the airport! It's going to be frigid up here but at least it won't be snowing when I leave! And even if it's cold in Orlando, it's still warmer than New England!

Going to be a busy weekend for us. Lots going on and we will be trying to pack and clean the house.

Only a few more days before we go. Trying to get the Ipod and Netbook ready with movies for the flight. Hopefully the kiddos cooperate. Can't wait!
