Whoooo Hoooo!!!!!

I got 4 of the top 5 and 7 of the top 10.

Yay ME!!!! :woohoo:  :woohoo:

So for all of those leaving soon concerned about weather- here is the latest i found on accuweather- which has the 15 day extended forecast, starting with 12/4, since that's my departure date! I'm a little biased! :goodvibes

The second set of numbers labeled 'WC' is from weatherchannel.com.

both sites show rain for 12/8. looks both sites are showing it to be a bit chillier than my past December trips.....no 80s shown at all and only mid/low 70s for a high, which is still great. Being from TX, i am fine with 70s and no 80s. lol :rotfl:

Sat 12/4 67/50 WC 70/50
Sun 12/5 72/51 WC 74/48
Mon 12/6 72/54 WC 75/48
Tues 12/7 60/54 WC 69/49
Wed 12/8 62/42 rain WC 72/55 rain
Thurs 12/9 63/43 WC n/a yet
Fri 12/10 65/50 WC n/a yet
Sat 12/11 73/55 WC n/a yet

I hope the weather channel is more accurate. I'm from Jersey so I'm not afraid of the cold, but I would love it to be in the mid to high 70's as opposed to 60's.

I hope you December crowd will forgive me for not reading all the pages here! But we are going in 10 days and reading about your trips just made me want to jump in!

I keep watching my mail for something else from WDW- we got our luggage tags and coupons but no tix or anything- should I keep watching for another package or do you just take the confirmation from booking when you go? I kind of feel odd going down there with nothing but a page printed from my computer!

Just wanted to say that some of the other weather models are predicting temps right inbetween accuweather and WC for 12/7 and 12/8 and highs look a bit warmer on 12/9 and 12/10 as compared to accuweather. We pool alot of weather sources at my work plus we have our own prediction. Admittetly hard to predict weather, but thought I'd mention since I have been watching our internal forecast alot lately (for non work related reasons)! But all models predict dips on Dec 2, 8 and 9, it's just not consistent how much colder then normal to expect. Not bad temps really no matter how you look at it...

I am assuming that you are staying at a WDW resort. You'll need to show ID at check-in and I always take my confirmation numbers. You will receive your "tickets" in the form of cards that are loaded with your room key, park admission and meal plan if you have one.

Have fun!

I hope the weather channel is more accurate. I'm from Jersey so I'm not afraid of the cold, but I would love it to be in the mid to high 70's as opposed to 60's.

welcome!! 10 days is not far away, did you do the online check in? You will get your 'tickets' with your room key at check in if you have a package. They will give you a key to the world card which acts as your room key and also has your park pass on it too and you can have charging privileges as well on it. It is great to just have that one card to deal with.

Thanks, good to know to packing and planning! is it still looking like rain on 12/8? we are doing the CLP that night for the 8;15 show, is that whole theatre covered and do they still do the processional in the rain?

I have a question: (I know someone will know the answer as there is a lot of knowledge here on the boards)
Can I request that charge priveleges not be on my room keys? My son and daughter in law are staying in the same room with me and I do not want to have to sort out with them afterwards.

Thanks!

Yep! We always decline the option to charge to the card. It will say "Not valid for charging." :upsidedow
