Doin the single digit dance! 9 more days!!!

i actually love the jalapeno cheese filled pretzel- also available at the LUnching pad- as are frozen cokes- another great treat!Starting a list for snacks - where in MK do you get the cream cheese pretzel?
OUCH on the root canal! but at least you can dream of disney while in the chair, right?Kids are 80% packed, I am about 50% packed and DH can fend for himself
I NEED to go shopping tomorrow to get some more jeans to pack, I am too lazy to do laundry on vacation!
TWO more days of work
ONE root canal tomorrow![]()
the advantage is not waiting in a long line at check in. however, there may not be a line anyways, it just depends on your resort and time of day. If you do online check in- you go to another special area other than the normal line and they will have a folder and your documents already prepared and ready, so there isn't much waiting. If you do regular check in- you might have a line to face (I've seen it at least 30 people deep during POP at POR) and about 9 deep at CBR, 6 deep at WL in my experience.......if you do normal check in- you might have to wait a bit while they print/prepare your documents right there for you instead of in advance.Ok... I'm at my 10 day mark so I can do the online check in but I've never done it before. Can someone please explain the advantages/disadvantages of doing the online check in?? I plan on faxing in our requests tomorrow while I'm at work so should I wait until after I do that?
Okay I have an actual question. My dd is upset because she is going to miss nacho day at school (go figure!). So I told her we'll find them somewhere that day. Anyone know of anywhere in DHS (that's where we'll be that day) to get nachos?
Now for the game:
First park: Most likely the Magic Kingdom
First snack: We like those chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches
First ride: According to my DH, He says it depends if we turn left or right. If we go right, it's Buzz's Space Ranger Spin; left is Jungle boat!
Here's something. How many people can remember what they did the very first time they went? I know I can't but my DH went for the first time on our honeymoon. Our first park was Magic Kingdom. My first snack was the frozen banana
and his was the Chocolate chip ice cream sandwich, which is why he loves them so much now! Our first ride was Haunted Mansion, because it was always my favorite and I wanted to share that with him.
I made him bypass everything else just to ride that first.... plus, we were married on Halloween,
so I thought it was appropriate for it to be our first ride as husband and wife!!!

SMART move!As luck would have it, I was able to get an ADR for Crystal Palace in the 2pm hour, but hear they switch over for dinner at 3:15. Does this mean that if I get seated at like 2:30, I'll have to finish my food in 20 minutes and there won't be any Pooh characters?
If anyone has the info, or a similar story, advice of which 1 to keep and which 1 to drop or even a soothing thought, I'd appreciate it.![]()
Now the first time I went:
First park: MK - in fact, it was the only park!It was 1972.
First ride: 20,000 Leagues under the Sea. (I still miss that ride.)
First snack: Pastry from the Main Street Bakery.
This trip:
First park: DHS
First meal: 50's Prime Time
First snack: probably popcorn, but not sure - not a big snacker.
First ride: TSM (yeah, right! We arrive in the afternoon!) or RnR.

the only thing is that they simply start switching out the buffet food from the lunch items to dinner items (if there is even much of a change, might not be) and of course the price. The characters will still come around etc. We ate a late breakfast one time- 10:45am and they switched to lunch at 11, so we got to try some breakfast items and lunch items and it was pretty dead too- really fun!Ok... A week and a 1/2 left til I'm at the World and I'm giving myself an ulcer.I booked a 5:15 Crystal Palace ADR months ago, for the night that we have MVMCP tix (cuts down on the stress if we're already there). Now, I'm hearing that they do the lighting of the castle at 6:15. With the horror stories that I've heard about some ADR's not being seated until 30-45 min after their appointed time, I have the panic that I won't be able to see the lighting. This is my first trip during Christmas season and I don't want us to miss a thing.
