I don't have a problem with the set up of the food court, maybe because I love dim sum which has a similar feel. The only problem I have is that it's so darned expensiveCSR is on my to stay list. I've visited many times and it is really nice. Not sure the food court set up is to my liking, but the landscaping, pool and all are great. POR on Pop arrival or check out day is probably a mess. We were checking in at POR on the same day as them and can you say nightmare? so glad you are happy with your change!! i bet it will be fantastic!
LOL- i couldn't help but picture you going a little bonkers when it spilled and him looking at you like a crazy person.....As I was typing my post yesterday, DH was home and had received our second Mickey Mail packet from our TA! He kept it a secret until I got home because he wanted to surprise meOf course, then later on I handed him the stuff to look at, and he spilled it all over the floor by accident, and I temporarily got crazed. I then had to apologize. I blame the DIS for making me so excited about the mail in the first place

yeah, we are right in the middle of either. But it is only a 2 hour flight to WDW from DFW and it is like a 3.5 hour to DL, so it is quite a bit farther for the west coast for us. i have to travel to SF a few times a year on business and it is just a beating of a flight. lol- i only live 20 minutes from DFW airport thought, so it is convenient to fly at least!Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about not being in the room that much, and the issue of an outside outlet. I think maybe we'll only do something small, if at all. We still have soooo much to do before our trip anyway!
It must be so great to live in Dallas, since it's a similar travelling distance to the DLR or WDW. We're very used to going to DL. WDW is going to be a real treat!
yeah, the CSR food is expensive- that's the part i hate, no really easy cheap options, are there? It's been a while since i've been there though, so i might not know what i am talking about.I don't have a problem with the set up of the food court, maybe because I love dim sum which has a similar feel. The only problem I have is that it's so darned expensiveand we don't do the dining plan. I was considering adding the QSDP, but my dh is only going to be there for a couple of days, while I stay longer, so I'd be paying for meals that we wouldn't eat. And we're doing V&A, so I'm getting the TiW, which will cover the TS meals. We probably won't eat there more than once or twice anyway, and they do have great pastries & gelato!
Enjoy your trip, too!

Total Score at Wal-Green's at lunch!!! the one by my work seems to have the best disney selection. they had a whole end cap at the entrance with these sparkly mickey heads to hang as a 'wreath' or in a window. plus they had those lighted ones to hang in a window. i got one of those at halloween and it broke almost immediately, so i got the glittery non lit one instead.

then they had a ton of snow globes, photo albums etc.
then on another aisle, i found this adorable light up snow man. it is about a foot and a half tall or so. i think it was like $13.

Then lastly, these adorable little christmas trees, about a foot or so tall, they had a white tree, then green ones- the green had either red/gold or blue/gold decor. i got the red/gold version for my office. it lights up and plays music, but i haven't opened it yet. it was $12.99 too. might have to get my mom one of these. it has minnie on top. didn't notice if the blue maybe was mickey and if the white was like tink or something. i'll go back and look. so cute!

i also found some individual window clings there- not a large sheet, but just a small individual one- i think 2 for 99 cents. had some mickey, minnie and pooh ones. Also found mickey christmas sticker booklets (I like to put on our cards). so huge score on disney stuff!!! the little christmas trees would be great for anyone looking to take one to use in their room in December- it is a perfect size, pre-decorated and plays music too!
JEALOUS! The only Christmas Disney stuff my Walgreens had was the cookie cutter (which of course I got!) Congrats on your purchases!!
I have SO much work to do - so much that I tried hiding Internet Explorer to make it harder to keep jumping on-line. Hasn't really worked yetI need to work. I need to work. I need to work!
that is so awesome. i could never keep the surprise that long- i would go crazy! how have you done it?19 days to go, and the kids have ZERO IDEA! I'm super excited about the surprise part of itMade shirts w/ their fav characters that say "Surprise, we're going to DISNEY WORLD!" for them to wear to the airport

lol- me too- i dis during work and at night when my son is in bed. although i should be doing other things like dishes. lol.......i guess we are addicted. but then again the dishes aren't as fun and don't share my excitement for disney either. This is totally me too! I even made a "To Do" list, divided up into Work, Home, and School (for the DH who is taking online classes for his BA). I don't see "Post on the DIS" anywhere on my list, and yet here I am.![]()

It has been super hard! I keep wanting to get their input on things LOL, so I have to say "when we go back to Disney in a few years, what things do you want to do?" LOL....
The big reveal will be the morning we leave--with a big Mickey Package under the tree from Santa, Dad, and Mom. It will be filled with balloons and have a note attached for my oldest to read to his siblings. I can't wait to see their faces!!!!!!!
Us too!!!!! Can't wait!!!!! I know I worry about weather up here too!
Hey I will be in MK on the 13th too!!!!
Our first girls only trip in 2008 we had a forcast for a winter storm to hit on the day we were flying out. My sister got on the phone and was able to get a flight leaving a day earlier and I called CBR and added a night. I got a hold of my daughter who was a senior in high school telling her to come straight home from school because we had to leave for the airport 1 hour after she got out of school. We got out just in the nick of time as the storm came barreling in. We got to CBR at about midnight. The next day we learned that our town got about 15 inches of snow and EVERYTHING was closed down, including the airport. It was so wonderful knowing that we beat the storm and to top it off that Orlando was enjoying record temps 90 degrees. Everyone at home was digging out and were lounging at the pool! We spoke to people the next day at DHS from all over the mid west and east coast who just got out as well. It was the talk of the parks for us Northerners! We were very lucky to get out of town when we did. We got one of the last flights that made it out. Our original flight was cancelled and they would not have flown us out until 3 days later. It made for quite a memorable trip!
Hopefully no drama like that this year!
