**Official December 2010 Thread!!** - PART 2!

my mom (51) was diagnosed with congestive heart failure (CHF) in 2007. and on tuesday night she had a(nother) heart attack:sad1::sad1::sad1:
i was at work and thank god a co-worker was able to come in and finish my shift. she was in the ER for 21 hours. she finally got a private room due to her mrsa at 4pm central time yesterday. they're watching her kidneys because of all of the fluid her body is retaining.

anyway, i am trying to keep positive that she will be okay. we've done this before and it is harder each time. she's my best friend, i love her so much.
please send positive thoughts our way.

i got her a get well card with mickey, and i try to focus on our vacation. 2010 has not be either our of year:sad1:

I'm so sorry to hear that your mom is seriously ill at the moment. I'll pray that she responds quickly to the medical help she is now receiving in the hospital and that the two of you will be able to proceed with your Disney plans next month. My DH has been in the hospital twice since we booked our trip and as of now we're planning on making it. :flower3: :grouphug: pixiedust:

Stuffed withfluff, I'm sorry to hear about your mother.

I have 35 days left!!! DBF and I are headed to our military base's ITT this morning to buy our WDW tickets!!!! :cool1: So, hopefully, by this afternoon it'll be official.

Stuffedwithfluff, sorry about your mom, hope she is better soon.

No mail yesterday, hoping for some more mickey mail today. Ordered my photopass, too.

Only 19 days!!!

I'm a little concerned though - Day 1 in the parks is December 3 - my plan was to do breakkie at the Bakery in MK - if the parade taping is happening will this put a damper on my plan?

Also, does the parade taping happen all day?

I think my ticker will now read 1 month! :cool1:

I did change our ADRs for Dec. 18. Please remove Le Cellier 1:30 pm and change to Kona Cafe noon. Please change the time of Flying Fish from 7 ish pm to 6:00 pm. Thanks!

I'm still trying to decide if I want to pre-order the Photo Pass CD. :confused3

stuffed withfluff sorry to hear about your mom.

34 days until we leave for WDW.

So what is everyone doing to pass the time?

I am doing crafts for teachers, shopping and cooking. I have so much to do the week before we leave I ahve to make sure its all done way before or I will go insane.

28 days! 4 weeks!

I just woke up from a dream about Disney. I woke up so angry at DH. In my dream, he went to Disney with only jeans and tennis shoes. No shorts. He was hot and whiny. I just called him at work half asleep and was like "pack shorts!!!!!" :rotfl:

StuffedwithFluff, I am so sorry to hear about your mom, but I can sympathize, my mom suffered from CHF for years, but unfortunately the only heart attack she had took her from me. I am hoping only the best outcome for you and your mom.

The closer we get to our trip, the more likely we won't be going after all. There are no jobs on the horizon for DH, but not because there aren't any out there, it is because I can't get him motivated enough to get out and apply. I did have a dream just before we got up where someone had posted a msg on facebook to him and it was the Hi Ho Hi Ho song from Snow White

 I'm so sorry about DH. You do get depressed about losing a job. I lost my job last year in March, found a temp position in November that lasted until the end of July and I'm unemployed again. It really is depressing. You get a feeling of worthlessness. What makes is worse is the bleak outlook in the job market.

I really wish that was his problem, my DH would much rather be a stay at home husband and that is just not possible. The job market really isn't as bad here as it is other places, because there is alot of work going on at Ft. Benning preparing for the troops being moved here from Kentucky. DH is a CDL driver, so there is almost always something available. But, you have to get out and apply and I can't stay home to babysit him to make sure he does it.

my mom has lost 12lbs of fluid so far, she will be in the hospital until monday--but she may be there longer. but, she did remind me...

Now that Christmas stuff is showing up in stores, I can start buying trip supplies! This morning I picked up 4 Santa hats for MVMCP! :woohoo:

And some EarPlanes for DS8, but that is boring... :lmao:
