I got mine about a month ago, they are fantastic, and fantastic quality, I was shocked. Especially since they are free.

I have to wait 6 months to order another set so I can frame them, since they are double sided.

97 more days! So excited! My DDs are 3 and 6 so the concept of months/days isn't that great --so today we made a paper chain out of colored construction paper and strung it along the staircase. Everyday they will tear one off until the trip. It gives them an idea of "how much longer"

I think that is a great idea!! Our dc are 2.5 and 3.5 and I think that chain wouldn't last long with the 2 monkeys. But we go in Dec, so I might get some sort of Disney Advent calendar and count down to the trip instead of Christmas this year

yea maybe a paper chain wouldn't be the way to go for you We leave for FL on the 2nd of Dec, but our disney adventure doesn't start until the 6th-13th. So maybe we'll see you there! I am so excited...we're down to double digits!!! We too, made a paper chain...on our camping trip this past summer. We started it with 147 days to go. We kept it dry and intact, in a tent, through two rainstorms and a drive in a van packed to the roof. We got it home and it's hanging in my DD's room. I remember thinking, when we put on the 99th ring...that it would be right when the kiddos go back to school and summer will be over...kind of thought I'd be sad. Well, they go back on Tuesday and I'm soooooo excited to be at 99 days...nothing to be sad about. I'll miss them when they're gone...but, we're only 99 days away from Disney!!!

I was thinking of doing a paper chain as well. I think we are around 107 days out so I would start it at 100 days and let the kids take one off each morning before they go to school. This way they want to get up each day and it will help my 4 year old understand how much longer we have. I will be so excited once we get to double digits.

Do you know anyone in the states you can send them to? I had mine sent to a friend in Jersey...it cost her less than a dollar to send them on to me.

Dec 8-17 staying offsite at Runaway beach.
ADR Dec9 11:30 Crystal Palace
We plan on visiting disney for 6 days and 2 will be spent at Universal.
We plan on fishing off the dock on Saturday instead of bothering with the crowds. How many of you with little ones are paying extra for the christmas shows? We have a 2 year old and a 7 year old.
So excited!!!

We just got our tickets today for MVMCP!
We might all need starbucks but we are ready to party!

That is so cool. I never thought of putting stuff on the links to read. The back side of the chain wouldn't come up but the front side would probably be enough. Of course we don't know anything about Disney and a few of the things I would have to change so I need to do some research.

That and the kids have NO IDEA where exactly we are staying. They think we are staying at CBR but I changed to AKL a few weeks ago.
