I'm up with you starting to countdown the hours...too funny, I have the same butterflies. The clock just struck midnight so, we are officially into the single digits and already I can't sleep. I'm so excited I can't stand it. Only 9 more sleeps...I think. But, if I already can't sleep and there are still 9 more to go I'll be exhausted by the time we get there.
We have been counting down for this trip since Dec 07...not as long as you but, long enough that it feels surreal that it is really almost here. It just doesn't seem possible.

I am right there with you on that!!! The 7 day forecast on channel showed the 50s through next Wednesday so, I'm crossing my fingers that that will continue through next Saturday. AGhhhhh!!! Next Saturday...I love the sound of that!!! Are you flying out of Logan on the 6th? We are...Airtran at 7:16am.

No - we're flying out of Atlantic City (would be kinda stupid to fly up to Boston and then back down to WDW ... )

The Disney Christmas Parade that is shown on Christmas Day is being filmed on Dec. 6th so the park will be packed. Regis and Kelly usually host.

I'm not sure if this is good news or bad news.

I kind of expected it to be mobbed, being the first weekend after Thanksgiving weekend.

I believe Pop-Warner starts that weekend too.

CHRISTMAS PARADE TAPING 2008

DECEMBER 5 & 6

While it has not been confirmed by Disney, it appears the annual Christmas Parade taping will be scheduled on December 5 & 6.

This is a lengthy process. The parade/shows are often stopped and restarted until they have the take that they need for the Christmas broadcast.

Main Street will be crazy crowded. You may want to skip the Magic Kingdom until later in the day.

We only have 10 days to go!!!!!!!!!! Yaaaaa!!!!! Still no documents in the mail today. I did call the airline and they were able to tell me if we don't receive our tickets in time from our TA we can sign in at the airport. I then called Disneyworld reservations and they were able to tell me everything is fine in their system, and not to worry if they don't show up. We won't have our ME tags, etc. I called ME and they told me we were already booked with them. It sounds like everything is going to be ok.

I've been during the filming and didn't think it too bad. Most of the crowds are on main street to watch the parade. Once you get through that it's managable. I contemplated sitting and watching the parade, but it's an all day event. I'd rather do the rides

We are leaving Disneyland tonight and then will only have a couple of weeks to go before Disney World!!! I can't believe it's so close now!!! I'm getting very excited... the downside is that I have finals right before we leave (actually right up to the day before!)

I can't believe we're almost there. I am sooo excited I don't know how I'm going to sleep. Sheer exhaustion might work, since I have a few things to do.

I've been waking up in the middle of the night then start thinking about the trip and can't get back to sleep. Hopefully we'll all get some rest before then so we can be full of energy when we get there.

Maybe we'll run into you while we are there!

Happy Thanksgiving fellow December Disers!!!! I survived my first hosting of Thanksgiving dinner and now we have a few more things to "do" and we'll be there!!!!!!!!!! It's keeping me going right now!!!

Just a little while ago I realized that I need to remember to pack the cell phone charger next week because that isn't something I can pack early. How on earth will I remember it? I'm afraid I'll forget it.

Happy Turkey Day fellow December Trip 2008 DISers.

We've had our meal, my niece and nephew have gone home (thank goodness) and now I am sitting here with my mom who is talking to my sister on the phone and they are playing Animal Crossing City Folk, and I am looking up info for them.
