Official December 2008

Hi everyone!!
Well you can add my family..and possibly maybe our friends to the group of Dec Dis'ers going!! Last time we went for an extended period was Dec of '06.

We are looking at Dec 11-14 and staying at POP. But now that I have heard about it being during Pop Warner week, I am a little worried. We are also considering MVMCp on Dec 12th.

I should be paying our deposit this week....:woohoo:

Today during our Mother's Day lunch we made our final choices for dining. I am going a shoot off an e-mail to our TA in the morning because frankly, I keep going back and forth and I want to rest my brain:headache:

So our ADR choices are:

Chef Mickey's Dinner
1900 Park Faire Dinner
Kona Dinner
CRT Dinner
Le Cellier Dinner (Candelight Processional Pkg)
Mama Melrose (Fantasmic)
Akerhaus Storybook Princess Breakfast
O'Hana Breakfast

We are leaving one table service open for whatever moves us. I'm sure we'll end up at Kona for breakfast or O'Hana for dinner with that extra one. DH hates being a "slave" to ADR's. I feel like they help me plan a little better. Give us some structure for the rest of it. We are going to be there 9 full days and have park hoppers so park planning will come together.

So we have those, the Osborn lights, Christmas around the World at Epcot, BBB for dd and lastly, we have decided on MVMCP on Tues 12/9.

Am I forgetting anything?

December 30th - Jan 6th for us...Can't wait!
Wilderness Lodge
We have not been to WDW in over ten years...Can't wait!

We will be there Dec 7 - 13 staying a ASMo. I just hope it will not be to bad with Pop being there but our two grandsons picked this and I am afraid they would be disappointed if we changed.

Not sure about MVMCP yet. We will have to wait and see.

Add me to the list too, :)

This will be our first time going as a family... gonna be there from Nov 28th through Dec 6th.

Celebrating both my dd's birthdays while we're there... older dd will be turning 8 on Nov 28th, and younger dd will be turning 6 just a few days after we get back home.... so gonna do something special for her on the last day.

Can't wait!! :santa:

Well..........November's hours are STILL not published. :sad2:

My point being: For those of us with early December trips, we need to be prepared for the fact that December's hours will most likely NOT be published by the time we are able to make our ADRs. :sad1:

Oh no it's a Disney conspiracy! Darn those CM's! Why would they do this to us? Don't they know planning when we go to Disney is all we obcess about for months before hand!

Let's keep our fingers crossed that this doesn't happen with the December hours!

With or without parks hours, I have made a tentative schedule based on the UG crowd levels and I doubt it will change much, because it didn't last time I did it that way. It will be easier to have this done and change it, then to start with whatever is left when the official schedule comes out. Besides, that calendar is subject to change up to and including that day.

Here's hoping it comes out on time pixiedust:

SShhhh. It's a secret. Add us to the list! We will be celebrating our first Christmas with Mickey. I am so excited. My dh thinks I have completely lost my mind planning a trip this far in advance! Glad to know there are others suffering from a similar madness. I don't have our ADR's planned, yet, but most other things I have tentatively mapped out. We'll be at POP 12/17-12/23.

Your Dh would be scared of me, because I have been booked since August 2007. I am especially glad now that my cousin has decided to join us and I have to do all the planning. I would be crazy if I was just starting now.

We will be at the Boardwalk (hopefully, can't make reservation until this Thursday) Dec. 6 - 14 for our DisneyMoon!!!

Subbing! We are going to take our 2nd trip of 2008 Dec. 6-13 at moderate or Wilderness Lodge (not sure yet- will decide in September so we get the bounce-back rate). HOORAY for the Mouse!!

I've done the same thing Suzanne. We have park hoppers so it won't be a huge big deal to have to hop to our ADR's, but we'll see. I also tried to estimate EMH's based on last December's hours... so between the two I'm satisfied with what I have... (fingers crossed)!!
