Local (NYC) ABC News here just showed a promo advertising that they will be talking to Ginger about her injury that almost kept her from dancing tonight.

ABC's really milking her "injury."

OMG. I started crying like a little girl about half way through Nyle's dance (and there are tears in my eyes just writing about it). That is really the BEST freestyle I've sen on the show. Ever. Move over Drew Lachey, there's a new sheriff in town.

I always vote for my favorite freestyle in finals. My goodness, that was it.

But ... OMG ... Mark and Paige. That was certainly one of the TOP FIVE freestyles in the history of the show. Mark stripped it down. No other dancers. No props. No usual mark garbage. Just strong, beautiful Paige and Mark. What a performance, especially following Nyle. I had to give her some votes.

I would be happy with either Paige or Nyle now. I was not a Nyle fan until tonight but that dance gave me CHILLS. I love Paige. I love Nyle. I don't want to split my vote and give it to Ginger. Ugh.

I gave almost all my votes to Paige, and a couple to Nyle. I'm pulling for Paige to win with Nyle second, or vice versa I would still be happy. Ginger is good, but they're better. I was in tears over the last two dances.

I saw in the newspaper that America's Next Top Model was given the axe so it looks like Nyle is Tyra's last top model.

It got picked up by VH1 with some changes. Tyra is still exec producer, but won't host anymore. Don't despair- the smize and booty tooch live on!!

I voted online today. I gave most of my votes to Paige and some to Nyle. I know that splitting my vote is dangerous but I decided this morning that MARK and Paige really deserve the Mirror Ball. Mark did all the choreography on his dance. It was all him and Paige 100%. Nyle's dance was a group project led my Talia Favia with Peta and M-M-Maks in supporting roles. That doesn't sit well with me.

I only started watching this show cause nyle is on it, which I'm sure a lot of new viewers only watch cause a favorite "celebrity" is on it. I've actually really grown to like the show. However I know it sounds petty, but if ginger wins I won't bother watching next season at all unless someone I really love is on it again. Not going to bother with a show that is so obviously rigged.

So here's hoping nyle wins, but I'll be happy with paige too cause then at least I can be happy knowing they deserved it through legit fan votes (I don't trust judges scores at all, paiges dances were not that great to get all the tens she got, plus the bogus score changes, and yea, ginger, ick.)

I wasn't all that wowed by Mark & Paige's dance. They did well, but they had a good song to dance to. I was more touched by Mark's reaction afterward. I'm glad Tom picked up on it and had Mark speak. But, I'm sure having Mark's fiance as their singer also affected him.

As for Nyle's dance, maybe it's because I was so affected by it, I don't care how many people went into creating that dance. When I see a play or movie, I know there are a lot of people who went into creating it. But, the performances still belong to the performers.

And yes, Robin, that's like comparing apples to oranges and not what you are referring to. It does make a difference that the guy who conceived, wrote and now stars in Hamilton, did it all himself. And since we are talking about judging a whole performance, that stuff does count. I know I'd factor it in at another instance.

Ginger's freestyle did not deserve all 10's. Hope Paige wins but would be happy if Nyle wins too, as long as it's not Ginger.

Finally watched. If Nyle or Paige doesn't win, it will be patently obvious that this is a rigged competition. Ginger's freestyle, while sweet and "nice," wasn't even in the same league as the other two. She would be in the junior division of any dance competition, while Paige and Nyle would be in the big boy competition.

Nyle & Peta's freestyle still brings me to tears, just thinking about it! It was amazing.

I'm going to be happy whether Nyle or Paige wins. I love watching both couples, although I think Paige had a definite advantage in her dance background. Nyle's ability to dance without the benefit of music astounds me!

Ginger doesn't match up to Nyle or Paige and ABC's shameless promotion of her has been a real turn-off! I have not missed a season yet and this is the first season I have even considered it is rigged.

I don't want to take away anything from Nyle's performance. It was freaking awesome!

I'm just saying that Nyle and Peta got a lot of help all season long and Mark and Paige did not. I wonder how awesome her dance would have been if mark's best bud Derek helped her out all season or if he got a super-duper contemporary choreographer to design her freestyle.

IMO, the finals should be about the dancer and the pro assigned to them. Not the pro, the pro's best buddy who is also a pro and a third pro that designs and directs the dancer and the pro. Imagine the howling on this thread if it was V-V-Val who brought another pros like that to work with Ginger?

I sometimes wonder if the producers bring these people in and ask the pros to use them so they can showcase them. I mean they made it quite clear who talia was so it seemed like promotion to me. Maybe they want some of sytycd's funky choreography. I thought marks peacock routine with paige was the best dance cause it had that fun, crazy imagery.
