No change for me. I'm all about Nyle.

I liked Lindsey and Wanye~but I think I am just as irritated that Jodi got the boot . All the speeches of how growth is what the show is all about, BWAAAHHHH-HAAA-HAAAAA I never, EVER thought I would think this but Val, quit being a sell out. As far as the winner, technically Nyle is the only one without any dance experience so that sways my decision. All 3 are wearing thin on their saga's~ Paige , get over it~ Ginger, you were well liked on the weather scene before DWTS, however, you may have done some serious damage to your credibility and career~Nyle, I am in awe of how you can dance, but you can give off the vibe of , well, heading to the " tool shed", please keep that in check. I hope he wins, but really have no idea if he will.

I think everybody was impressed with Nyle, at first.
But, what has changed for me...
HIS DANCING HAS NOT IMPROVED.

I can't see how his hearing can be used as an excuse for something as basic as bad posture and lack of 'hold'.
Sorry, but this is the finals...
Nyle's posture is absolutely horrid.
We are talking Ballroom 101 here.

He might have started out as a producer's pick... But Len has been the dissenting vote.
I don't think he could bring himself to fall to pressure to give this guy 10's.
He just looked disgusted that one week. Everybody was just going apes, clapping and cheering, and Len just shook his head and said.... "Well.... his bumm stuck out..."

GO PAIGE!!!!! GO PAIGE!!!!

My opinion of Nyle hasn't changed. I still think he should win. Even with outside help from Maks, it doesn't change the fact that this dude can't hear the music.

I agree about Jodi.

As you can see, I do not hope Nyle wins.
And, in addition to the fact that he is riding on his looks and his Pro ( the TOOL thing), instead of actually working on improving his basic ballroom dancing skills. That is another reason why I can't vote for him.

(1) I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Paige should get over it. I felt pretty mean saying it earlier.
(2) I don't think Ginger is doing anything bad to her career. In fact, I think she now has higher name recognition.
(3) I had to look up "heading to tool shed" LOL. Yes, that's definitely it .

I loooooove Nyle. Ginger and Paige have both had extensive dance training. I don't like to root for major ringers. Nyle's posture issues are not that bad, and Peta should be working on that with him, but I give them a pass because they have a bigger issue with his training- the fact that HE CAN'T HEAR THE MUSIC!!! I'm sure most, if not all, of the training methods other pros use have been thrown out of the window when it comes to Nyle. He and Peta (and Maks and his interpreter) are making up a whole new way of teaching the routines. What they have achieved is remarkable, and the fact that he has never had any dance experience or training before just seals the deal for me. As has been stated and proven over and over, the best dancer is not the one to necessarily win- it is about growth, likeability, popularity, back story, AND dancing ability. Nyle has the others beat, IMO, on all counts.

I haven't been following every moment... But, can you guys try to explain the 'Paige get over it' thing.
Am I missing something.
I mean, I know they have to do the 'bio' piece and try to drum up support/pity.
But, I haven't gotten that Paige is milking it or hasn't gotten over it?
Maybe I have missed this???

Paige says she was "severely bullied" to the point where she had to move away and she didn't want to live... because she was pretty, blonde, and she made Varsity cheerleader as a freshman. Apparently, some mean girls at her school didn't like her.

Now, I'm not going to say that she is lying (who am I to judge, everyone has their own experiences in life), but... come on. You were a popular, pretty blonde petite cheerleader and you were bullied so badly?? Just seems a bit overdramatic.

Plus, the whole "I'm a tomboy fighter- it's so hard to be girly and dance" thing is basically major spin. Her parents owned a dance studio and were dance teachers. She had dance lessons and dance training until she was in high school, then did cheerleading all through high school.

the part about not being girly is my beef with Paige...always with the I live in sweats, I fight people, I am not a girl..you ARE a girl, and you are not doing athletic women any favors by constantly stressing that being feminine isn't a part of your fighter life. She ABSOLUTELY has skilled training in dance and lines , femininity etc. Can she dance? Heck yeah and I am sure it has helped her in her career. Just call your abilities like they are Paige, quit hiding behind the tomboy curtain .
I still think Ginger is going to lose some fan base in her career...she has lost all sincerity for me. I like to trust the weather person lol

Hmm ... I just read something more about Paige. She said she boxed her older brother Steven Sletten (who is 2 years older than her) when she was growing up. He is now in jail for child molestation of a 13 year old boy in September 2011 and child porn on his computer. Now, Paige has nothing to do with what her brother does, but I find the timing to be interesting. That would be just about the same time as she and the rest of her family moved to NV.

very interesting...as in she is using her bullying as the reason they had to move when it was possible it was due to her brother?

I'm torn on this. I suspect she really is hurt but I also think the network is playing the injury up for the drama factor and votes. I can't help but roll my eyes and think that they are now going for the pity vote.
