What was the theme last night? I'm debating on whether or not to watch it depending on what the theme was. I was at my book club meeting and forgot to tape it.

....I am SOOOOOO annoyed. I watched The Voice while I DVR'd DWTS. This morning, apparently Verizon Fios rebooted (or whatever) their whole system. When we turned the tv on to watch Good Morning America, the bottom showed "No Data Available" on that [or any other] channel. So, while I was getting dressed, I decided to watch last night's show, except THERE WEREN'T ANY!!! None, zip, nada - all the shows I had DVR'd during the past few months were *poof* gone!

I got confused as to why Nastia Luken is a student at NYU, and Derek Hough is in NYC at Radio City Music Hall, but Nastia flies to LA for 3 days to rehearse with someone else. I realize that Derek, doing 10 shows a week, would be too busy to work with her in NY, but seems like she could find somebody else to train her in NY, and then just fly to LA with Derek the day of the show, or whenever he does. If that makes any sense. Maybe I’m just confused. :> There’s no way Derek could have done the show again with a “normal” partner, so they pretty much had to give him somebody with a lot of natural talent. But in a way, it seems unfair for him to get the best dancer, seems like he’s already well on his way to another win. That being said, I’m a big Nastia fan. She’s adorable.

Awwww. I didn't know this either. I remember them both from their season of SYTYCD, but had no idea they were a couple.

Twitch was in the audience last time, sitting right behind Kerri Ann Inaba. I kind of chuckled when Kerri Ann told Riker he needs to be a little more “testosteroney” and then she said to Allison “you obviously have a lot of testosterone”. Allison is way too muscular and “testosteroney” for my taste, but she does look better this season for some reason. I think they’re doing a better job covering her up more. I’ve just never been a fan of women with big muscles. I prefer women who are soft and curvey like Charlotte, not hard bodies with defined muscles on their upper back and shoulders.

That's probably why there is a 50% off deal. I don't think the "Spring Spectacular" brings in as much money as the Christmas Spectacular. The show must be losing a lot of money, too, not having a show on Mondays. I *think* the Radio City Rockette shows usually run every day, till the season ends. I've known 3 Rockettes over the years, and they said the schedules are brutal on their bodies. They perform hours longer in a single day than most dancers, and in consecutive weeks on end. Then they get a long hiatus in between seasons, where they make no money at all from the show. Then it's back to the killer schedule again.

And unless someone knows Derek from DWTS, people aren't just going to go see him in it.
