Jonathan Bennett and Peta Murgatroyd – dancing the jitterbug

Ugh. I really am not liking Allison this season. It is clear that she is in over her head, has very little ballroom experience, and has no idea how to make her partner look good. I really wanted Jonathan to get a fantastic partner and I just can't stand Peta. I wish he had gotten Emma, Whitney, or even Cheryl. Not Peta, though.

I am looking forward to seeing what Mark and Derek do with their partners since they just switched. I have high hopes for Leah and Val. I think that could be a fun partnership.

I am soooooo glad Artem isn't dancing with Lea this week.

Michael and Disco and Witney--hope she can help him do the Hustle. I think I she will be great.

Jonathan and Peta? Doesn't she also showcase herself?

Others seem good pair isn't thought Antonio is toast, I think.

Peta won the mirror ball her second time out of the gate. She almost won with Gilles during the All-Star competition. She's a little Ice Princessy, but she's good with her partners, IMO.

I might be the only one, but I thought Jessie J was right-on with her score of the first dance. They were not in sync and he was not hitting things sharply. I was shocked at the 8 from Carrie Ann. I've seen much better dances scored as 8's.

Allison and Antonio for Bollywood. (Not an easy format at all.)

He looks like he is going faster than she is--so he knows it. His count just stinks.

Why most the pros do solos? Not about them. And they stole the cord lift from Sadie's up routine. I guess that replaces lifts?

Bethany looked good in rehearsal.


I'm not a fan of the routine. Mark has the oddest choreography. Bethany looked better in rehearsal. I don't think shiny spandex helped with her swag.

Bruno says she is blossoming in confidence.
Carrie Ann says she has lots of swag. (In replay, I guess her face does show it.)
Jessie J expected her to be why and awkward from video and was surprised.
Julianne--Derek Derek Derek....oh but she held her own.

ETA: everyone is gushing on this routine and I'm all...meh.

I thought Jonathan did well. I think the judges were really hard on him.
