Backtracking for a moment. . .

We had a great time!

Please accept my apologies for an OT mini-trip report.

We were at WDW for 8 days and 7 nights in a SSR studio. It's been a few years since we stayed there. The room was nice but I didn't like the pools. They were OK for my DD when we stayed here last but are now rather boring. The parks were jammed packed and we had to leave the parks on M,T,W & F at about 3:30 for swim practice up at the YMCA of Central Florida near I-Drive & Sand Lake Road. The traffic was NUTS(!!!!) and I was happy that we usually stay on Disney property because I would have been homicidal if I had to drive in that traffic multiple times a day.

We then went to Tampa for a week. We stayed at the Hyatt Place near the airport (using Priceline for only $35 per night!) and then we moved to the Hilton Clearwater Beach using my DH's hotel points. My in-laws, who are in their mid-late 80's, live in Tampa so we were able to see them just about every day. The swim meet was very competitive with fast qualification times and my DD got many personal best times. Unfortunately, she didn't make it to the top 10 swimmers on any of her events so she didn't swim finals. The beach was lovely, but between the meet and my in-laws we didn't get to spend as much time on it as I had hoped.

It sounds like your vacation was actually work!

Dial Idol, which was exactly right last week, has Lisa and Victor tied for last. Interestingly Andy is in the middle above Sean.

I thought the exact same thing! She showed up on my television and I wondered why she had a giant whale tail on her chest.

I like Anna and of course I really like Edntya sp?


Has Cheryl ever had this bad of dancer, doesn't she usually get pretty good dancers

I like Anna, as well, though I must admit that I like her less now that she has divorced my Jonathan. Not a fan of Edyta. Also don't like Cheryl. I think that Cheryl is a good pro who used to be excellent at bringing out the best in her partners. I don't think she has been doing as good of a job as of late, though. I think it started going downhill with William Levy when all she wanted to do was make the dance look sexy and not necessarily technically sound. Cheryl has always rubbed me the wrong way, though.

I didn't know Anna and Jonathon got divorced

They announced it last year. They are still dance partners who run their studio and make appearances together, though. Makes me sad that they didn't work out. I laugh every time I see the clip of Jonathan filling in for Anna on DWTS when she was too sick to teach Steve Guttenberg.
