I think it's everything - the lawsuit, losing her show, her divorce (I'm thinking he left her no matter what the press releases say), and it's pushed her back to how she felt all those years ago when she was married the first time and afraid to leave her house. I think she needs some big time therapy.

Her divorce doesn't seem to be confirmed yet. But, I can see that being piled on too. When she WAS strong, she was definitely running things, especially, it seemed, her marriage. She was an Alpha personality and the strong matriarch over her sons & hubby. Her hubby seemed kind of laid back, rather Beta. They fit.

But, when things fell apart, if she lost all her strength & confidence and then became emotionally at the level of a rather clingy, needy, desperate child, and was expecting him to take on being the Alpha, when it's not in his personality, that can really rock the boat in their relationship.

IF the reports of him having an affair earlier were true, even Betas who know they are Betas, don't like to be emasculated. There is a difference in not minding that the woman takes the lead and make the decisions, runs things, and being stripped of one's manhood. Often, a man will feel he can find his manhood again (if he doesn't have a strong job,) with a woman who makes him feel like he's a man again, sometimes in an affair.

I can see where Paula made a LOT of bad decisions and it all toppled on her. Louie has his hands full.

I just finished watching.

Bindi! Oh my goodness... I cried through both her rehearsal package & her dance. And the little father & daughter "moments" that Derek built into the dance were so lovely. I had forgotten that Bindi read something she wrote at her father's memorial service. Her little brother looks EXACTLY like their dad.

Tamar's dance was good, but there's still something about her I don't like. I don't know... her tears after her dance were a little fake to me. But I admit... I might be being petty.

I totally got what Alphonso was saying last week to Alexa about how her partner during this competition is Mark. I'm not sure why she took offense. Of course, your marriage is the most important thing. But you're not dancing w/ your husband. However, I did like Carlos much better this week.

I also liked Andy more this week as well.

I feel like I'm not being loyal to my southern roots, but I would have much rather have seen Paula go home instead of Gary. Gary is a little out there, but he really does speak profoundly. And he seemed to get the dancing better too - and definitely w/o as much drama & anxiety as Paula. Paula is too squack-y for me, & a true southern lady would NEVER burp in her dance partner's face.

My favorites are still Alek, Nick, & Bindi, & I would love to see Alek win.

I've been DVR'ing the show, and watching snippets, but watched this week's entire show, and cried through some of the dances, especially Bindi's and Tamar's (that's Toni Braxton's sister?). I also like Alexa, and maybe that's because I still think of her as that little girl on Spy Kids. But, I really like that she's a decent woman whose relationship is based in faith. I wish them the best. I thought Hayes did really well, and so did Nick. Although I like Alexa I thought she was a little stiff. I think Derek was brilliant with his choreography. To me, he kind of embodied Steve's spirit during the whole dance, not just parts of it. It reminded me of a skit called "The Everything Skit," and Bindi was just wonderful.

I've been enjoying this season. I was hoping Paula would go before Gary, not sure why.

In other news Kim from this season, the strike ended up being a blessing in disguise for her. She had a hole in heart and that's what caused it. She was on gma this morning talking about it.

Finally was able to watch this weeks episode of Dancing. Bindi made me cry my eyes out!! Such a beautiful tribute to her father. I can't believe Paula was not one of the final 2. That floored me! Really can't see her not being the next to go. If anyone goes before her I will be highly disappointed.

I'll say this again: The two teams "in jeopardy" are not necessarily the BOTTOM Two. The other team is basically picked just for drama & suspense, UNLESS Tom SAYS: "These two couples are the BOTTOM TWO." He hasn't said that for several seasons now. Instead, they started saying, "While not necessarily the bottom two, the first couple in jeopardy [for 2 minutes] is. . ."

Would it really be dramatic if, instead of Carlos, it was down to Paula & Gary? Would anyone care which of those two went home first?
