Really? Maria & Derek's "Material Girl" dance is one of my all-time fav DWTS dances! LOL!

Bindi is just adorable. "Here is what my mind looks like... picture a beautiful meadow. With a fine mist over everything." "I get what you're saying. My feet don't get what you're saying."

And their dance was gorgeous.

I didn't so much mind the dance, but I hated the song. To be fair, Material Girl is my favorite Madonna song so hearing it slowed down how they did it just wasn't my cup of tea.

I agree that Bindi is adorable. I really want her or Alek to win.

Carrie Ann is a perfect example of those people in everyone's life, where you can do everything right, but they pick out and ONLY see the ONE thing wrong and focus on that and diminish EVERYTHING else that you do. Literally, there should be a poster of her as an example of this.

However, Derek tries to break the rules all the time and think he can get away with it unnoticed, or that the rules shouldn't apply to him.

Oh, & I also have to say that I really like tonight's theme w/ the pros' hometown stories!

I think DTWS has been on TV for so long now, that the pros themselves are sometimes actually more popular & more "known" than some of the stars. Many people probably tune in as much for the pros as they do for the stars... I know I do.

Then there's Julianne's white, umm, mirror ball accident outfit.

We have this place where I live where you can make your own mosaics. You pick out your piece and then go to the wall and select your little glass pieces. There are tubs all along the wall that have different glass pieces in them (red tub, yellow tub, purple tub, etc.). One of the tubs is filled with mirror pieces. My daughter (age 5) really wanted to make a piece this summer using just mirror pieces. Julianne's dress reminds me of the finished product.

I actually like her dress but her make up was just weird.

Derek and Bindi dance seemed really short?

Some of the dances have seemed too short since the first night.

I thought Kim scores were low

Bindi's was low also. I thought that Val and his partner did really well but Bindi and Derek did just as well.

Did anyone notice the lady standing behind the hosts at the very beginning of the show? She was all in black and was wearing some very short shorts that almost looked like a bathing suit bottom.

I'm actually liking Kim better than I thought I would.

Kim's on damage control. TMZ showed her at the airport, right after the show, having a slight meltdown at the gate. She wanted to get back to Atlanta right away, but the airlines lost her DD's plane reservation and put her on a later flight. Of course, Kim wasn't going to fly off and leave her there, so she made them change her reservation, along with her hairdresser and another person with them. But, by the time they got that straightened out, Kim's luggage was stowed on board the earlier flight which was about to depart, and couldn't be taken off. Kim got mad as she had a LOT of valuables, like her jewelry in it, and it would be circling around the baggage claim area conveyor belt unattended for hours, until someone realized no one was there to claim it and then steals her bags.

Why she couldn't just send her hair dresser on the earlier flight and attend the bags, I don't know. It was really the airline's fault for losing her DD's reservation and not arranging someone from the airlines to take care of her bag. Especially in these days of "Don't leave your bags unattended." But, that whole diva mess was caught on camera & shown on TMZ. They also said it didn't really seem to be her fault and yes, they (and I) would be upset knowing our bags would be circling the conveyor belt for hours.

TMZ probably shouldn't even have aired the footage. But, they did. So, Kim & DWTS is probably on damage control this week the make sure that Kim seems really likable, both in her dance and her attitude during rehearsals.
