'Official Dancing With the Stars' Celebrity and Professional Pairs Revealed!

Well All My Children is an ABC show too and that guy didn't do so well.

Liz

Well, there goes that theory. Good! :thumbsup2

I can't stand Anna after she "phoned it in" when she took over for Lacey when she had the flu. Anna threw out all of Lacey's choreography and made Mark Decascos learn a who new routine that wasn't suited for him and highlighted Anna instead. She was the main reason he went home that week.

Oh, that's right. :headache: I knew there was a reason I didn't like Anna.

Wow! All I can say about last night was that it must have been the biggest exhibition of plastic surgery on any one show. From Brooke and Pamela's ginormous fake breasts to Buzz and his wife's face lifts this show is beginning to look like an ad for going under the knife.

erin and maks make me laugh when they are together before a commercial, haha.
what the crap are they dancing to?!

Ke$ha is the "artist", but I don't remember what the name of the song is. It's on the radio now.

Nicole and Derek - I think they are the couple to beat (so far). That was beautiful.:cloud9:

For it to be week one and to have gotten the scores she did, they are the fore runners for this season. And the scores from Carrie Anne and Burno were right on. Len, knows she's gonna be good at ball room dancing and is going to ride her butt with the nit-picking.

Wow! What a train wreck of a night.

I hate, hate, hate the celebrity fish bowl. I hate that they make them stand outside of it and watch the other contestants dance. I hate the cheesy graphics on the judges names and the new crappy scoring graphics.
I hate to say it, but I think that Buzz might have taken away the "worst dancer" award from Season 3's Tucker Carlson. I hope that people don't vote for him just to be respectful and nice. It was painful to watch. That poor Ashley. She certainly had a 1,000 watt smile to make up for things.

My favorite dancer is Nicole, but she's a bit too sexual for me. I knew she would be as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls. It will be interesting to see who can out-skank who -- Nicole v/s Pamela. Oh and Erin ... honey ... PLEASE EAT SOMETHING! Why does my favorite boy M-M-Maks get another bony anorexic with twigs for arms and legs? First Debi Mazor and now Erin Andrews. I think her limbs are gonna just snap off if she dances too much. Thin and fit is very nice but bony just makes me cringe.

ETA: I liked Evan but I will have a hard time rooting for him. I can't stand Anna after she "phoned it in" when she took over for Lacey when she had the flu. Anna threw out all of Lacey's choreography and made Mark Decascos learn a who new routine that wasn't suited for him and highlighted Anna instead. She was the main reason he went home that week.

I totally agree with you on the new holding area/reveal area. It was perfectly fine how it was.

I personnally can't wait to see what Derek comes up with for him and Nicole in the Latin dances. She shouldl be able to knock those outta the park. She'll SELL the sexuality or passion that is needed in the Latin dances. Plus when it comes to moving the hips, she's be moving them as good as the pros do.

I hate the Celebrity Fish Bowl and the cheesy judges graphics too. Absolutely horrible idea.

I thought Erin Andrews was HORRIBLE. I can't believe she got such good scores and comments. She seemed so awkward and was kind of flailing about. I thought she had a dance background? I think she will improve, but I wasn't getting all the love last night.

Buzz was painful to watch. I hope he goes home. I think if they want to have older contestants on the show, they should do some kind of mini competition (like the young kids competition) and have it on during the results shows. I respect him for trying but I just feel bad if he takes the place of someone who may have the potential to improve.

Can't stand Jake, but I thought he did well. I also thought Aiden did well too for the first week. With all her talk I thought Niecy would do better than she did, but she has potential. Pamela actually surprised me, I didn't think it was that bad...but it will be interesting to see her do a ballroom.

I kind of felt bad for Kate. She and Jake seemed to be the most out of their comfort zones and she looked really nervous. I also think Tony's choreography was horrid. He never seems to challenge his partners. Someone like Kate needs to be challenged...her routine seemed too simple so then she started overthinking things and looked stiff. It will be interesting to see if she impoves at all until next week.

Evan and Nicole did great but I am tired of seeing "ringers" on the show now. I did like some of the past "ringers" (Mel B, Kristi, Mya) but it is starting to get old now.

I fell asleep before Pamela Anderson danced. My husband watched though just for the "entertainment" factor. Not a flat chested girl in sight.

I don't like the "improvements" to the show either.

why is it that derek always gets the ringers and the sexy ones? poor edyta i fear she will be gone first agin, maybe aiden can do better with the ballroom dance. and why oh why would they make buzz do a cha cha??? i loved that tim allen was there cheering him on!

I agree with everything!

I thought Ochocinco was BETTER than Erin by a long shot and they applauded her! I thought she danced like a pony just learning how to walk!!

I'd want to get rid of Jake so I NEVER have to see his poor choice of a hick in the audience again! :rolleyes1

I didn't care for Kate. She looked uncomfortable.

Did you notice the look on her face when any of the judges gave her even the littlest of criticism? I am beginning to believe all the diva stories that are popping up about her.

My DH, who doesn't have a clue who she is, commented by saying "wow, is she ever po'd". There was a noticeable narrowing of the eyes and the smirk on her face, her jaw tightening.

She was furious that she didn't get rants and raves :rotfl2:

I so hope her diva butt gets voted off early!

Go over and check out the Dial Idol predictions. Very surprising!!!!

I know they aren't as accurate for DWTS as for Idol because of the judges scores also being factored in, but I was surprised. It will be interesting to see how much they change after the 2nd dance.

I don't think any of the dancers liked the criticism. I think they all thought they did well, and let's face it, criticism when you have done what you think is the best, can hurt. There was lots of facial expressions going on (I thought Shannen looked the most surprised (I think it was her that was told she was flailing her arms), but I think none of them expected the criticism), as they were told what they did wrong..from all of them. It must be hard to stand there and hear you weren't so great, when you danced your self silly. I give every one of them credit for putting themselves in such a vulnerable position.

Surprised, hurt, disappointed, humbled, even a bit taken aback - yep, saw all those. And those are all normal reactions.

Super ticked off, pissed off, that particular nasty anger when you feel you are better than anybody else - nope. That is somebody with a major ego challenge.

Like I mentioned, DH has never watched her show, doesn't read tabloids, so had absolutely no preconceptions about her.

However, he reads body language professionally, and he was the one who mentioned it first. I had to rewind to see what he was talking about.

Come back and post! You can even do it during each dance. Doesn't matter if you are the only one posting. (Some of us start the thread each week, being the only one posting for a while until others get home & tune in.) Tomorrow, we'll understand what you are talking about. It's a shame the West Coast sees it so much later than when we are discussing it. :hyper2:

:wave2:

First of all how many RED BULLS did Bruno drink before the show?? :lmao: :lmao: He was soooooo HYPER last night!!

I agree with those that think this will be Evan/Anna and Nicole/Derek as the top contenders. I thought Erin as well as Chad did good and will improve each week. :goodvibes

Kate, Buzz and Jake were painful to watch. Niecy Nash, love her, hope she hangs in there. What a sweetie. Shannon, I thought she was just ok. Pam Anderson ...

And how many CRANKY pills did Len take??? He was so NASTY.

Why does EVERY show feel like they have to have an English cranky judge. Simon perfected it and is the only one I can stomach! :confused3

:lmao:Bruno is always hyper! If he sat down through an entire show I'd think he'd been drugged or something. His comments are hilarious too!

I think you're right about Evan and Nicole. They're definitely very good already. Although it does seem a bit biased since she's already a dancer/singer and he basically dances on ice and is already graceful. This season looks to be fabulous. I enjoyed the whole premiere and even DH stuck around to watch (a 1st for him:laughing:). Niecy Nash, OMG, I could NOT stop laughing! She is hilarious and I hope that she sticks around for a while. She wants to keep her jiggly parts too! I almost spit when she said that because it's the total opposite of every other female contestant! They all want to lose weight or tone up but not Niecy, she wants to keep her curves! Loved that!:goodvibes

Len can get cranky, I loved when Tom said not to mind Len, he hasn't been up this late in 3 months! I like Len though, his comments are interesting but he's pretty old school and wants classic rumbas, cha-cha's and waltzes. He always gets put out when they stray from that.

Ok, how happy were you to see Vienna in the audience cheering Jake on?:laughing:

1. Ochocinco can MOVE!! He was waaaayyyyy better than his mark of 18!
2. Pam needed a POLE! What was up with the hair?
3. JAKE NEEDS TO GO! I cannot stand watching Vienna's mug anymore! I've had enough of her!
4. I LOVE DEREK! (He was the best dancer in the Michael Jackson Tribute)

Just MHO...

I like him too. He really seems to watch the technical stuff, feet, etc. more than the other's. Of course then he gets boo'd. Wish I had a donut for each time he mentioned posture LOL!
It will be interesting next week, to see who took his advice.

 I'll have to go back and look again. I didn't think most of them with the bad remarks looked happy. I just thought she looked disappointed. I assumed (yes, I know what they say about that :)) she was disappointed in herself. But then, I'm not trained in much of anything for reading people. I just felt bad for her (and a couple other's) that they worked so hard, and didn't pull it off like some of the others did.

Super ticked off, pissed off, that particular nasty anger when you feel you are better than anybody else - nope. That is somebody with a major ego challenge.

I have to say I really like all three judges, for different reasons. :thumbsup2
