I want to see a replay of that - to me it looked as though he stepped on his partner's dress and slipped. A mistake on his part yes, but if it was the dress then they have to watch those hems more closely.

I only saw Jake slip once and it looked to me like he stepped wrong on the heel of his shoe and slid. I done that before just walking.

I don't think the dress was a factor. It looked to me like he slipped with his back leg, then when he was trying to get his footing, he rolled his ankle a bit, thus stumbling some more. Overall I thought he recovered quite well, and at least it didn't happen until after their stair sequence, I thought that was quite good. I always feel bad when anyone has a goof like that during the live show though.

That said, I don't think Jake has a ton of potential as a dancer and I can't imagine him sticking around too much longer; although Kate is still strutting her stuff, so what do I know?

I thought the judges were especially tough on Nicole, but I could be a bit prejudiced since I always want Derek to stick around as long as possible, no matter who his partner is, because I think he's a very talented choreographer. I love to see what he comes up with every week.

I'm still pretty lukewarm about this cast as a whole. So on to the hosting... can they please get Brooke Burke some cue cards and not let her ad lib? Maybe she'll get better with time and experience, but I'm certainly not loving her. Or am I being too harsh?

Erin and Maks were judged too low IMNO...but it is the first dance of the night curse.

I think that the 2 score system had too many of the dancers focusing so much on the technical part that they couldn't get out of their heads and just dance last night.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of Brooke. I really liked it when they had Drew Lachey fill in when Samantha was on maternity leave. They should've brought him back!

I wondered the same thing. Each episode looks a bit to cozy with those two. At one point it looked like they were going to kiss. Especially when Brooke was interviewing them after they danced. Do you notice how he gazes at her and their noses always touch. He's got Pamela fever

Me too. I'm no prude, but this is supposed to be a family show. Kids shouldn't be subjected to seeing her like that. When Nicole dresses that skimpily, she still has class. But, Edyta just comes off skanky.

While former 'Baywatch' star Pamela Anderson tangos on 'Dancing With The Stars,' California officials say she has failed to pay $493,000 in personal income tax. Anderson is on the annual list of delinquent taxpayers released Monday by the California Franchise Tax Board.

This isn't the first time Anderson has been wanted for debt. In 2007, she owed $252,360.39 in back state taxes and penalties, AP reports.
Currently, Anderson is among 250 individual and business taxpayers that owe more than $100,000 in back taxes. State records show a tax lien for $493,144 was filed against Anderson in April 2009.

Her attorney, Robert T. Leonard of Woodland Hills, says he is representing Anderson in the matter but declined to comment further.

Back in 2009, Anderson allegedly owed $1.1 million to various construction companies for remodeling work on her Malibu home as well as back state taxes.

According to the documents, five different construction companies have filed liens against her home, the largest being $674,043 for "labor and materials ... to remodel main house, construct swimming pool, construct foundations for guest house."
