Kate just bounced when she forgot the routine. Who is worse, Buzz or Kate?

They were both pretty bad. Neither did the steps right, both were stiff. I guess most will give Buzz a pass because of his age and that he is a 'hero' to most of us, but they were both bad. Neither of them can dance. That said, they will prob both get to stay in, because they both will have the home votes. It really isn't about who dances the best. They said at the begining that there would have been an upset, if they went home after the voting today, so I'm thinking Kate and Buzz would have stayed.
I don't remember in the past them showing so much woah is me in the practice rooms.

Holy cow!!! I will have to watch tomorrow night. I did not know this--I passed tonight, I just didn't enjoy last week.

The old Beach Men, I can't wait. I wonder which group it will be? Hopefully Mike Love and Bruce Johnston. There are 2 many old beach men groups to keep up with and they're all old and have old voices but great senses of humor. I'm still their fan.

I agree. Makes me think that it was her agent/TLC who pushed for Kate to be on the show and not her. Honestly, she looked/acted like she just wanted to walk off stage and go home. Maybe she does. All I know is that every season I've seen (and that's all of them!) Tony is an absolute sweetheart. He seems so easy to work with and always showcases his partner, not himself. For him to have walked off like that, he must have been pretty pissed.

I think this is the first year he got a complete dud to dance with. He always had a middle of the pack partner.

The pros do not get paid after they get voted off. All the Stars get paid the same no matter how long they are on the show until the last 3 couples are left. I think Kate really wants to be done & collect her check.

Tony always seems so nice. He is always smiling. I cannot believe she treated him like that.

And she was horrible. I think she should've scored lower than Buzz. At least Buzz is sweet and tries.

Apparently, technically, the judges thought she did better than Buzz. I did think she tried (and was frustrated that she couldn't do it)..but I don't think she has a loose, dancing bone in her body. All the trying in the world can't make you a dancer, if you have no rhythm. I don't think Buzz has rhythm either. He's a nice guy, but he can't dance. Heck, my husband has played in various bands for many a years and you would think he would have rhythm, but he can't dance at all. Actually, I think he dances like Kate LOL.

I thought Max's partner (sorry forget her name) asked for someone else and then got stuck with Max (what a way to be stuck ) I thought she said it last week and he laughed w/ something like "oh thanx"

She's Erin Andrews and there's a real chemistry there!

Buzz. He got all 4s.

Kate got all 5s.

That's unfair. Buzz at least knew all the steps.

If Buzz was only worthy of 4's, then Kate should have gotten 2's or 3's. Come on judges - let's be fair.

I hope this experience doesn't push Tony not to come back for future seasons. He is a gem!

Maybe the powers-that-be figured Tony, because of his sweet disposition, would be able to reign her in, but everyone has a breaking point!!

Kate is worse, BY FAR! As others said Buzz at least remembered the steps, showed personality, could actually explain to his partner what would help ( make a map of the steps) is conveying that he is happy to be dancing. Seriously, I think the judges were too gracious to Kate, she lifted her feet, forgot steps, didn't even pull off a pleasant facial expression...if they are going to be brutal to Buzz, do it across the board. I also do not think that the Pussycat Doll girl earned 2 *10's*...Buzz, hang in there, all the judges kept preaching last season was how "overall improvement" is a big part of the show! I'm sure Tony was shown a copy of his contract after he stormed out, that is the ONLY reason I can think of that he would put up with the shrew.

Kate should go, couldn't believe she got higher scores than Buzz. But you have to remember, this show is about making money and Kate will draw a larger viewing audience than Buzz. She is not a real person of talent and it really shows.

You are right. That is why she danced last. Last week Kate and Pamela were last. People will stay up and continue to watch until she dances. Her dance was painful to watch.

I'm not real sure, I'm on the fence about that dance. I didn't care for the music. Do you think they gave them that song because they knew that Derrick would be able to come up with a routine for it? I keep remembering the futuristic routine that he did a season or two ago.

But there is no way that was worth two ten's. Maybe nines but not tens. It's too early in the season. I don't care how good she can dance.

Len just irratates me to no end. The music producers give D&N pop music and Len expects them to stay with the traditional jive steps. D&N knocked it out of the park. They took what they were given and made it work. And with that, I will agree, 9's would have been a better score in week 2 for this dance. If they had done it in week 6 or higher, then I could see where 10's would have come from

That was not one of Cheryl's best training efforts. There were too many things off in too many areas.

I love Cheryl. She's usually one of the best choreographers & teachers. I don't think they are going to last very long.

Cheryl and her partner just didn't look at ease at all. Wonder what is going on? Hope they get it together because I love to watch Cheryl.

No wonder Kate's marriage broke up.

I don't think it's Cheryl's training. She is too short for Chad's height. Of course his posture was horrid last night. If he had stood tall and kept his frame, his frame would have been about a foot over Cheryl's head. I think this is one of the worst pairings they could have come up with.

Whoa, that was hard to watch with Kate and Tony. They both seem completely frustrated with each other. Kate looks confused and scared and Tony looks frustrated and angry. I think you guys are right, Kate isn't used to a strong man (sorry Jon!) and he basically wants her to shut up and listen to him since he's the professional and knows what he's doing. I'll bet there was way more to that rehearsal segment we didn't see.

Kate wants to dance, but she just can't let herself go enough to dance. She has to stop worrying about what may happen and just do the dance.

Yep, the first dancer goes Tuesday night. And if I had to take a guess, I will say that it is Aiden. Buzz will be kept for who he is, as well as Kate. Sadly I think Kate's fans will keep her around for awhile. I say it every year, it's a dance contest, not a popularity contest, but the general public CAN'T get that thru their heads.

I agree. Don't get me wrong, they were both HORRIBLE, but Kate's routine was much more difficult than Buzz's. Buzz just had to walk around the dance floor and barely could manage that. Kate had to do some kicks and flicks and much more complicated steps. Again she didn't do it well, but it was much more difficult than Buzz. I also agree that neither one has any type of natural rhythm. I do think Kate has the potential for a tiny bit of improvement, but I don't think Buzz will get any better.

I honestly cannot stand Tony. Never could. I just never liked his choreography. It doesn't seem fresh and he doesn't seem to focus on his partners strengths. He is also very lippy with the judges in past seasons. I just don't like him. I really think the only reason he got Kate was because he lives on the East Coast so it was easier for him.

I think Buzz and Kate will both make it through this week, but will probably be the next two to go after this week.

Yeah, I was surprised by that too. She was the highest phone vote getter last week according to Dial Idol too.

Aiden was the lowest last week and one of the lowest this week. I think he is in danger.

Dialidol isn't as accurate for DWTS as with Idol due to the judges scores being factored in, but it still gives a pretty good indication. That's why I think Kate probably will be safe for another week or two, but not much more if she doesn't improve.

Last week Kate and Buzz were at the top of the busy signal chart. Was glad to see Chad is at the top of the list this week.

And yea, Kate has a lot of fans to go along with the mutitude of haters. I can take her or leave her. Like all of us, she has her good points and her bad points. How each of us reacts to her points varies. As someone who can dance and has no problem picking up the steps very easily, I give her thumbs ups for going out and trying to learn these dances, when she readily admits she has two left feet and can't dance with a darn.

Buzz is an OLD MAN! His dancing probably won't get much better! The whole time I was afraid he was going to slip and break his hip!

I feel sorry for Kate....because number one, she CAN NOT dance. Number two, she is so much of a control freak that she will never learn HOW to dance. Number three, I think people WANT her to fail. Yeah, she's a control freak and she has issues, but I do feel for her sometimes.

Kate wants to dance, but she just can't let herself go enough to dance. She has to stop worrying about what may happen and just do the dance.

She can't allow herself to be submissive. In partner dancing, the woman has to allow herself to be lead. She can't even allow Tony to teach the way he does.

I had a great teacher, (not dancing teacher,) who used to say, "Attitude monitors talent." You get great, brilliant talents like John Belushi, Elvis, Michael Jackson, and their attitude is they don't have to follow rules, and they end up accidentally killing themselves. Or, Roseanne Barr & Rosie O'Donnell, very funny women, who shoot themselves in the mouth every time they open it.

Kate can't take instruction. A teacher can't teach someone not willing to be taught. She has to be in control all the time, leading, or else blaming others and then trying to be a victim of circumstances. Like the way she said to Tony, "Don't quit. Everyone always quits on me."
