I agree with you for the most part, and I'm not disappointed that 'Lil Kim left. But, I do think that Chuck deserves to be the semi-finals over Ty. I thought he improved a lot throughout his time on the show, and he was far more entertaining than Ty.

SHE didn't kill anyone and SHE chose to not snitch on her friends, she did not LIE on the stand she chose to plead the 5th and there were also other charges such as Fraud. Which happens on a daily basis throughout the USA by businesses etc. She just chose to be with the wrong friends on that night in question. Trust me I followed the case when it was going on, because my cousin is a HUGE fan.

Martha is a completely different case. She was witch slapped for being an uppity rich woman. Sooooo many other men did exactly what she did and were never hounded like she was and they were never brought up on any charges.

Its ridiculous to still bring it up, she is trying to change her life for the better and I think THAT is what is more important than what she did in the past.

YOU brought it up. I didn't. I simply don't see what Lil' Kim did to be as innocent as "she didn't rat out her friends". I am glad that she is getting on with her life and I am glad that I was able to see a different side of her on DWTS. I'm also glad that she is gone. NOT because of her past but because of her nasty, vulgar music.

I think it was Ty's time to go. Although not my favourite, I thought Lil Kim had done a great job. Derek was really getting annoying though.

It was definately Ty's time to go. He has improved but only in certain dances. Others he is still floundering. No way should he be in semi finals.

I'm happy she's gone. I couldn't stand the faces she'd make when she'd dance the faster dances. She also made obvious mistakes and her scores never really reflected them. I could never figure out why the judges kissed her butt as much as they did. Maybe they just appreciated how she went all out even if it meant she looked out of control.

I'm not saying that Ty is a better dancer than her, but he's a lot more likeable. I think the public really appreciates his attitude and how much he's improved. He also probably got a lot of the Chuck-Julianne fan base once they were booted off.

I liked Lil Kim. I thought she brought a very exciting and fresh feel to the show. And she REALLY wanted it. I admire that even if her past is a bit sketchy.

Ty and Chelsie looked really uncomfortable. I feel bad for them too because they knew it was their time to go. Poor Ty just cannot keep up with the rest anymore although his improvement has been great.

Almost everyone was shocked that Ty didn't go home. There were a very select few that were cheering though.

That's the one thing about this show that I don't like. The fact that every Tom, Dick and Sherry who has no idea about Ballroom dancing can vote off the better dancers just because they are fans of someone.

Did you see lil Kim's face? SHE was shocked and it was really obvious...I'm not sad to see her go...I've seen enough pasties for a lifetime from that woman!

My husband had guessed right, that Lil Kim would go!!!
He was not a fan, and it ended up he was right.

Of course, we all know that Ty has less natural ability and talent...
But what he has over her is that he is actually LIKEABLE.

What one has to realize when considering that Lil Kim was the one to go is that this is a ballroom dancing competition. What Lil Kim has shown time and again is that her only asset is her, ummm, asset... She is just a bit too proud of her 'bionic bootie'.

When she performed, I told my DH that I was really paying attention to her 'dancing', and, when you looked at it, it was just another girl shakin' her bootie.

Boooooh-tayyyy alone does NOT win this competition.

GO MELISSA GO!!!!!!

Ohhhh, I know that Gilles has the most going for him... His performances have always been top par. But, I can still root for Melissa, right!

Former Dancing with the Stars contestant Jewel used her husband's MySpace page on April 29 to express disappointment that injured hoofer Melissa Rycroft was allowed to compete during a rehearsal and not an actual performance this week. Jewel, along with Access Hollywood's Nancy O'Dell, were forced to leave the ABC show before it even began this season due to injuries.


"I think the rule about judging a rehearsal if the person is too injured to perform was weird both times they have used it," Jewel wrote on the page. (Steve-O was the other contestant who was allowed to compete under the special rule.) "As bad as I felt for Melissa, who I hope feels better and comes back, I'm used to our cowboy athletes that live by the rule: 'ride hurt or don't get a score.' It may seem harsh, but it seems like the only way to keep things honest.


"I know there are all kinds of ways to doing things and it sure is out of my control –- that's for sure –- so I'm happy to follow along as it is," continued Jewel. "But I have to say I think the [Professional Bull Riders] has kept a lot of integrity in sports by using this rule."


Insiders say the rule allowing contestants to compete during a rehearsal has been place for some time but hasn't been enforced until this season. Rycroft, who suffered a hairline fracture of the ribs, was ultimately spared this week while Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough were eliminated from the competition.

I think Jewel has SOUR grapes for not being able to compete this season. She felt like she wasn't allowed to participate, so why should anyone else who gets injured (no matter when/how it happens).

I am glad Lil' Kim is out. While Ty should have gone before her, I realllllyyy didn't enjoy her dancing, nor did I want her to win. Yeah, OK, she can shake what her Momma gave her, and seemed like a nice gal, but not my taste..

I think Ty really needs to go next, and come down to Shawn, Melissa and Gilles for final 3. I hope Melissa or Gilles wins, with of course, Gilles being my FAV-OR-ITE. Bar none. It will make up for Mel B losing a few seasons ago. (not that I'm bitter or anything over that one...)

I totally agree. Her faces were so annoying and distracting. And look at the group Tango, how much Lil Kim screwed up (reminds me of a Kathy Griffin routine where she imitates how Paris Hilton couldn't figure out how to get off the stage...Lil Kim was like "I don't know WHERE I'm going!" ). And then they got two 9s and a 10??

The dancing starts at 2:35 (and an awkward start it was), and she screws up big time at 3:35. I'm sure they all screw up to some extent, but again...two 9s and a 10??

And are Gilles and whatsername actually having lip contact in that dance (at 5:18, I think it is)?

I got to see Chuck yesterday, he had a crowd of about 200-300. It was good to see him back on the road, he was glad to be back and so was the band.

Julianne was in Texas, had she been there we would not have made the drive like we did.

He did tell us what dance he was doing at the finale.
