I thought Ty did really well last night. I was actually shocked at how well he did. I was expecting that it would be stiff and boring as usual.
I think Little kim should go home next. I don't think she deserved the score that she got for the group dance at all. (I know it was about the WHOLE group) but they had more visible mistakes than the first group.

I hope Gilles isn't the one going home as I love watching him and Cheryl.

The only thing I didn't like about team Tango was there wasn't much team in it. It seemed like 3 really long solos with the team part in the end. I will agree that what they did do as a team was in sync and really good.

Robin, I am with you. I liked Team Mambo better. They performed more like a team and it is much more difficult to stay in unison on a Mambo than a beated dance like the Tango. I agree with others who said the Tango was much more of 3 long solos.

Dial Idol also tracks DWTS. According to them, Shawn is in 1st, Gilles 2nd, Melissa 3rd with Ty and Lil Kim in the bottom 2 and Ty going home. I love Ty and wish he could stay for the pure joy of watching him evolve but seeing him try and keep up last night emphasized how behind he is.

Robin, I am with you. I liked Team Mambo better. They performed more like a team and it is much more difficult to stay in unison on a Mambo than a beated dance like the Tango. I agree with others who said the Tango was much more of 3 long solos.

Yay! I am not alone . It did seem like more of a TEAM dance and not just 3 solos with a team bit at the end. I especially liked that the girls all danced together and the boys all danced together. Also ... HIGH FIVE to Lacey!

I loved the parts with the girls danced and then the guys danced. I couldn't stop laughing at the end when the guys were standing on the judges table. Loved team mambo!

Yeah. Oh well. At least it wasn't one of the better dancers. I was so thinking because of the way they were playing it up that Melissa would have been the one to go. I'm happy that she's staying.

Well, imo, they should have been gone next week. Ty was the weaker dancer. But, Len said that he should be the one leaving, so people rallied to vote for him.

Too bad for Chuck....but with the exception of Ty they are just all good now, so it stinks no matter who leaves. And not that Ty is really that bad, he just is the weakest of the dancers left. I just think Chuck had too slow of a start, but I am glad to see how much he embraced dancing at the end.

I thought Chuck was getting so much better every week, I can't understand it. While Ty is fun, he's just not as good & as graceful as Chuck and Shawn is also very good but I'd rather Chuck still be there. I'm so glad Melissa will be back, I think her & Gilles are the best.

I know I'm being hyper sensitive but I can't stand to see Ty hanging all over Chelsie every week. They are very touchy-feely and I can't stand it especially with his wife being right there! I look at Gilles and he is over the moon with his wife. He never touches Chery more than he has to. When they are being judged they stand apart. When Ty and Chelsie are being judged he has her in an embrace. Yuck! What is wrong with people.

Well, If Jewel didn't like it, I'm sure she would have said so by now and he would have changed that habit. So if she has no problem with it, you really shouldn't even worry about it. Jmo

Some people are just touchy feely type people and others are not. And touchy feely doesn't necessarily mean sexual. I know brothers and sisters as well as friends of opposite sex that pretty much hang all over each other. Doesn't mean anything other than they like that person and feel comfortable with them.

I think it's mainly a toss up between Gilles and Melissa. But Lil' Kim is really good too.

I agree that Ty then Shawn need to go. Much as I like Shawn, she's still to self concious and reserved in her dancing.

Not necessarily. She probably doesn't want to come across as the jealous wife. But it probably still makes her uncomfortable. I know I'm making huge assumptions but it feels weird to me, and I'm not married to him.

Yup. I knew by the audience reaction on Monday to his comment and then the reaction last night when Chuck came onstage in the Team Tango that he was not going home. Sometimes I wish that Len would keep his big mouth SHUT.

As much as I liked Chuck ... it was either this week or next week for him. Now had and Julieanne can go back and concentrate on their CW careers. I am still waiting for Lil'Kim to make a really bad mistake and get booted. I *still* can't get over her rauchy career.

My final two would be Melissa and Gilles. Unfortunaltely, I don't think that Melissa will get that far with her injury with the free style in just a few weeks. I wonder if Gille's injury will also stand in the way of a kickin' free style. A "softening coller bone" does NOT sound all that good for lifts/etc.

Maybe it would help to read what she says. She posts on Ty's Blog. She comes across to me as a secure adult that understands the show. There are some photos, too. The other cowboy is Michael Gaffney.

I don't understand how Melissa and her predecessors who have been sports "cheerleaders" have been allowed to compete. The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are DANCERS. You have to be a really good DANCER to get on the squad. How does having prior experience as a PROFESSIONAL DANCER not disqualify her?
