I think Snow was on the first season of SYTYCD? Does anyone else remember this?

I missed the first season of SYTYCD. so I didn't recognize her. I was trying to figure out why I didn't like her, and the only thing I could come up with is that horrible shade of overprocessed blond hair - it doesn't go well with her skin tone. I know she was dancing a rhumba but she did seem a bit sleezy.

Every season of SYTYCD has had Snow in the opening graphics, sort of color-distorted (blue or purple I think). The only really distinguishable feature was the bleached out hair.

Oh no! Poor Melissa . I think that she deserves another chance to come back while Ty does not. He's cute and all, but Ty just doesn't have the Latin dances down. I do have to say that I am totally impressed with Chuck. Who knew he had it in him?!? He was better than Gilles this week, IMO. Lil Kim and Shawn were both good, as usual. I thought that Shawn's dance was too tame and that Lil Kim's was too Tango-y. There was too much of a disconnect ... no Paso-Passion.

I was surprised by Shawn's scores. I don't know....I thought she seemed a little stiff and not into it at all.

My guess is Ty will be going home tonight. I thought though he did a great job last night but out of the remaining, he is the weakest.

I thought that Gilles and Cheryl looked a bit out of sync last night. But maybe that's just me?

I certainly hope that Melissa can come back. Although, if she can't really do lifts, that would leave her with a big shortcoming in the last couple weeks.

I agree that Ty should go. I like him and all, but he is the weakest. You could really see it during the group dance.

I think you're right. I think it's going to be Shawn. I think that the studio audience's response to Bruno's comment about Ty going home will be echoed in the vote. People will feel sorry for Ty and vote for him while they won't think about voting for Shawn or maybe even Gilles.

Just realized how funny it would have been if Melissa had been able to do the team dance last to Single Ladies. I love when they match up the songs like that to the stars (like Lance Bass with I Kissed a Girl). I am slipping, can't believe I didn't pick up on that last night!

Melissa ended up hurting her rib doing last week's dance. She tried to dance this week, but it kept feeling worse. She found out that there's a hairline fracture. Apparently, she can still dance if she feels like it, but has to be careful of making the fracture worse.


Gilles wasn't too bad last night. I don't think he got a 10 though. Wasn't it all 9's? Maybe someone else can answer. I just thought his dance looked out of sync, although the judges said nothing about that.


But I agree. Since Melissa wasn't able to dance last night, they had to go with her practice dance which received all 7's. So people might rally to vote for her.

Then Len and Bruno were saying that Ty should be the one to leave, so people will rally to vote for him too.

So who really knows who's going home tonight?

I was shocked at the scores she got. She looked like she just phoned in that performance.

Might just be me but I noticed again last night that Lil Kim made some mistakes...seems like she keeps forgetting the steps.

I thought Shaun could have done a lot better at this point in the competition.

Kim's performance was okay but there was definately no chemistry there. She seemed to be trying to hard or it was just seemed forced to me. No Paseo in the Doble.

Would loved to have seen Melissa dance. Hope she'll be back next week.

It's time for Ty to go home but he definately is getting a little better every week. And he does give it his all.

Chuck was definately good.

I think that Gilles may have been toning it down some because of the last fast dance he did. I can't remember what it was but one of the judges, Len?, said he looked like he was just jumping around all over the place. There seemed to be a disconnect too between him and Cheryl. Could it be his shoulder?

I thought Team Tango was so much better than Team Samba?. Have to give Lacey props for learning Melissa's part so quickly.

I'm afraid, too, that it will be someone else than Ty going home tonight.

I think I am the only one who thought that Team Samba was better .

I also wish Ty would go home. I really like him and have been watching him for years on the PBR, but as he admitted last night, he's so far outside his comfort zone. He'd much rather be back on the ranch with his horses and bulls-let the poor guy go! He's only on Dancing with the Stars because his girlfriend, Jewel, talked him into it and the producers wanted to make a big deal out of this couple being on the show competing against each other. Then she got injured and couldn't compete, leaving him on the show without her. He's doing the best he can because of her, but this just isn't his "cup of tea". I can't wait to hear some of his comments on the PBR commentary after he gets let go. The poor guy took so much ribbing from his co-hosts when he agreed to be on Dancing with the Stars, it would be a blessing to see him finally get voted off.

Oh, I HOPE it's not Gilles going home! He's been my favorite since week 1. I called in with my home phone and my cell phone- this is the first week that I kept getting the busy signal REPEATEDLY for Gilles and Cheryl. I'm taking that as a good sign.

I was very disappointed with Shawn's dance last night- she didn't seem to have any spark at all. Ty should be the one going home though, but honestly it wouldn't shock me to see Shawn go. And i've never really gotten the hubbub about Lil'Kim- I wouldn't mind if she left either.

I thought both group dances were tons of fun and great to watch (dying laughing over the Samba), but I do think Team tango overall did better (except for Kim's flub).

Team Tango totally outdanced Team Mambo -- especially the last group portion of it. They were totally in sync.
