Official Dancing with the Stars - All Stars

I was out and about and just sat down to watch the show on my phone while waiting for my DD outside swim practice and the show didn't record! Bummer. Bummer also that Apolo went home and Kelly stayed. I guess I'm all in for Melissa now with NO guilt. It's hers to lose AFAIC. Lets just hope Shawn or Kelly don't blow me away because I have been known to switch stars on finals night.

Since it came down to Kelly or Emmitt, I'm glad that Emmitt went home. I think that Kelly will get 3rd, not sure but hope it's Melissa and Tony for the win.

I don't know about anyone else but I really didn't care that much for Derek's dance. I like ballroom much better.

Can't wait till next week!

Really want Melissa to win! Of the three left, she's the best since she is technically spot on AND brings the character to her dances. Can't wait to watch next week!!!!!!!!!!

Melissa is a beautiful dancer, but even if she wasn't the best of the 3 - I'm all in for her and Tony!!

Nah, I think there are quite a few of us right there with you.

I was hoping Apolo would edge Kelly out for the finals, but I'm semi OK with the final three, I'd love to see Melissa pull out the win!

We moved to a different time zone and never bothered changing our cell numbers, so unless they allow extra time to vote for the finale, I'll have to vote before the show even airs here. LOL

I can't imagine Kelly and Val could pull off anything that would make me change my mind about them.

I'm sure I could get distracted by Shawn and Derek because I think Derek is an amazing choreographer who knows how to highlight the strengths of his partner. I certainly don't think Shawn deserves to be crowned the best dancer of this season though.

So that leaves me right back at Melissa & Tony. I hope they really shine in the finals since they'll probably have all my votes before I ever see their dance. Maybe I'll check in here and see what you all think during the show.

I didn't really care who got eliminated as long as it wasn't Tony and Melissa or Shawn and Derek.

Val and Kelly gross me out too but she was a better dancer than Emmitt. I don't know which I was looking forward to less - more ogling from Val and weird inuendo or another sleeveless satin shirt from Emmitt.

Either way, all my votes are going to Tony and Melissa. I think he might pass out from joy if they can win the whole thing. He seems like such a sweetheart. I would love to see him win.

And he has been a class act - even with some of the *stars* he's been stuck with in the past! Lesser Pro's would have packed up and baled out seasons ago!!

I know I am in the minority, but I don't mind Kelly and Val. Val is absolutely drool-worthy, and while I am not that crazy about Kelly, they DO have chemistry. That chemistry, IMHO, adds "spice" to their dances, and that entertains me.

I will miss Apolo a lot, I really liked him, but someone had to go, and he probably wasn't as technically talented as the others.

On the other hand, I was SO ready for Emmett to go. I was tired of him clomping around the floor weeks ago.

Shawn and Derek have been my favorites since week 1, so I am hoping the final order will be:

Shawn and Derek
Melissa and Tony
Kelly and Val

But the top two could easily be a toss-up...

So it looks like they are doing their freestyles and one repeat dance tomorrow night. Melissa and Tony are repeating their samba, Val and Kelly are repeating their Paso and Derek and Shawn are repeating their Quickstep.

Also, I saw on twitter that it looks like Derek and Shawn are incorporating the Fab 5 American gymnastics team into their freestyle. The girls all arrived this week to rehearse with them. Guess we should get ready for lots of flips and tricks.

Ugh, I hope that Shawn and Derek's freestyle doesn't turn into a gymnastics meet. She is a great dancer and I hope they showcase that... not all the tricks and flips.

I generally don't like the freestyle dances as much because it seems to me way more about "who can do the most ridiuculous tricks", and less about who is the best dancer.
