I don't get why she can bring in other people. Donny Osmond should have been able to dance with his brothers & Marie then.

I think the rules were changed for them all. They can all bring in whomever they want. Seems pretty riduculous to me. Why did it all of a sudden become a group dance?

I don't like that anyone can bring other people in. I hate when shows totally change things for all start seasons. Blech. Not to mention all the gymnastics that's going to be in Shawn's routine, especially with the fab five girls who i love, but who don't dance (or aren't known for it, rather).

I'm predicting that we'll see close to 60 for each couple at the end of the night. It seems like the show likes to have the fans pick the winner. JMHO, so take it with a grain of salt.

Me too. Why are they bringing in a troupe for the freestyle dance? And by Shawn bringing in the freaking fab 5 gymnasts, that gives her a very decided advantage.

Ouch! The judges sure ripped Shawn and Derek and new one. But I have to agree.....it's the finals and this dance was NOT the freestyle. Too bad, even though it was entertaining.

I wonder if it's reverse psychology though. They get dumped on by the judges and people jump forward to give them the underdog/sympathy vote.

It's all pretty stupid. They still would have gotten standing ovations if they had followed the rules. Do they think that they can't get the good scores if they follow the rules like everyone else? They should never have been rewarded in the past for doing that. It isn't fair to the other competitors.

He's being cocky. He thought they'd do so well that the judges would just ignore that they broke the rules.

I'm just glad the judges called them on it. It was one of my least favorite dances of the season, certainly not their best. Does Derek just think he can do whatever he wants and the fans will still vote for him. This is the finals, I think the fans want to see their best not a slap in the face to the judges.
