Yep, AC, Comedy Warehouse, and all other clubs on the Island are closed and have been since last September.

I Usually roll with the punches when I hear about changes, but finding out AC is closed has really ruined my day. That has to be one of my most favoritist places.

I see the magazine is 60 pages. Are any of the pages advertisements? If so, 15.95 is not a value of any kind.

no, there is not and will not be any advertising in the magazine. the magazine is designed to be a collectible itself.

I purchased it at the Disney Store..as a keepsake, and they gave a pin with it as well. DD12's bday is March 10, I thought it would be nice for her to have.
The pin has March 1o on it as well...

Not sure if I need to give Disney more money to know that I am a fan...! Isnt DVC and my AP enough?! Geez, I got married there too....

Did you receive an email with a password? I sure didn't, and I'm frustrated now. I want to buy something else and can't cause I need my username and password, and I don't know what they are? I'm guessing my user name is the name I have for the certificate, but password?

I called Disney Shopping and the woman I spoke to said I have to wait to receive my membership info via snail mail. How frustrating! Here I am, just dying to give Disney my money, but nooooo.

We were in AK today and the magazine was on sale in one of the stores. They are all wrapped in plastic but one was opened to preview. Pics are nice but magazine was on the thin side and didn't seem to have that much in it...

Joined on 3/10, also booked ressies for Ho Jo's for the week of the convention. We want to bring the boys (my grandsons 3 and 1) to disneyland, so this is a good excuse! I am looking forward to the guests they will have at the convention and I am interested in what "exclusive" merchandise will be available. If I'm not impressed, no biggie, I wont re-join next year.

You should be able to purchase just by signing into your disneyshopping account. Once you sign into that, it should recognize that you purchased a membership.

I've noticed that the site doesn't seem to work with Safari. I also have the problem where it doesn't accept either the user name and password - but have you tried putting your email address in where it asks for your user name - that seems to work and then you can buy the D23 stuff without having to put your (not yet received) membership information.

Mine is my e-mail address and my pass word for the disney shopping and disney site. It is all one. Hope that helps.

kind of sounds fun to put it in dd's name so that even if we only stay 1 year she'll always have that with her since she loves disney almost as much as we do.

Officially joined today! (FINALLY!) I'm psyched.
Also ordered the plain "Made for you and Me" shirt with band leader mickey on the front. My first member exclusive purchase!!!

So far so good, now anxiously awaiting the arrival of my starter kit! I hope it doesn't take too long, despite the fact that a lot of orders have probably been made in the past couple days.

I ordered a hoodie as well. I thought it was a very reasonable price, so I am guessing it won't be that thick, so ideal for my first ever trip to WDW in 36 days (and counting) for carrying in a back pack for evening chilly time.

I joined on the 11th! I am really looking forward to receiving the starter kit. I also ordered a hoodie and a pin.
Can't wait to see what the member gift is. Steven Clark (head of D23 and executive editor of its quarterly magazine "Disney twenty-three) has said it is not a pin..... We'll see!

I probably will not join (but will probably regret it). I did buy the mag at the Disney Store. It is very well done. I wish it was regular size instead of over size. It will be difficult to leave sitting out someplace.
