Since I have to be back home for school starting in the UK September 4th, I will only get 8 days of free dining. The other 6 I am hoping for an AP rate from Aug 20-26. Have been working out some figures and it seems the best discount and deals are on deluxes. Hoping for either 1 Beach club standard, 1 contemporary standard, or 2 rooms WL standard. If neither are available I will probably try for 2 rooms csr.

I was so glad to have finally received a discount for our August trip. It's not free dining but it will do. When I originally called with "the code" I asked for it to be applied to my current reservation at CSR which was for $1999.71. I was told it was not available but if I was willing to switch to POFQ or CB I could get the same package for $1738.71, a $261.00 saving. That is definately not a upsale since the offer was for a moderate to a moderate. My daughter really likes CSR and I can't stand CB so I was tossing around the idea of switching to POFQ to save the money. I was then offered the BW for $243.00 more. Very tempting but we have already stayed at the BW and are doing a split stay by renting points at BCV so BW held no appeal for the additional cost. While I was on the phone with the CM I asked if I could apply "the code" to another reservation that I had booked for someone else. This one was for POFQ and she said yes and applied "the code" saving that party $364.00. A while later I called back and asked if they would check using "the code" to see if I could get into the Poly, CR, or AKL. I was told that the Poly and CR were booked for my dates by that I could use "the code" for AKL and would save $27.00. End of story................we are now staying at AKL, construction and all, saving $27.00 plus the cost of a taxi that I was going to have to pay for bringing us from Boma back to CSR.

is "the code" the 40% code that people were getting a few months ago?? I tried to get that several times, but coudldn't get a CM that would budge for me

Well we used the same code. We switched from standard room AKL 7 nights 8 day park passes and dining plan for $3692.60 to standard room BC 7 nights 8 day park passes and dining plan for 3487.78. So we saved 204.82. Which has already been reallocated to go back to the mouse lol. :
We booked a wishes Celebration cruise this morning for our first night and our savings will just about pay for it. Hopefully will find people to split it with and then I can spend it somewhere else as well. ixiedust:

what is the code for?? (not the actual code ~ I know that shouldn't be posted unless it's for the general public) but I am confused....was your code a post card or email offer?
