HAs anyone gotten a cake delivered to their room at Poly? There really arent any restaurants that I want a cake to be delivered to but was considering having one delivered to the room. Just not sure who would bake it and where I would call to get it delivered.

We have had a cake delivered to our room at the Poly. They have their own bakery on-site though their offerings, especially in terms of decoration, are more limited than GF, BW or BC. We had a 10 inch with vanilla cake, strawberries and custard filling and ganache on top. It was yummy.

Our 2 celebration cakes from our visit last week - both looked and tasted amazing:

"Grumpy" cake for my ex at Yachtsman. 10" Marble cake with white chocolate filling and white buttercream icing and fruit & chocolate garnish. $75

Mickey Head cake from Wilderness in-room dining, delivered to our Wishes cruise. We went with the vanilla cake - had chocolate & custard filling. $48

The mickey cake looks so cute, I am thinking of getting this for my son's 3rd bday at Ohana. How large is that cake?

VERY confused about the Miickey Head Cakes. :confused3 Pookie Bs were $3.99, but Quirty30 paid $48. :scared1: HELP!!!

no worries, i was figuring there were a lot that have been deleted, so perhaps thats what happened. i'm going to try to get them to get the camo cake above, with perhaps mrs and mrs potato head on it!

Unfortunately a lot were 'broken' with no picture other than the photobucket error, so a lot did get deleted.

I have lots of pages to get through here. But I am looking to order a cars cake for my DS b-day in January. I can't wait to see his face.

my boyfriend took me there Monday night for my birthday. After dinner the waiter brought out a piece of chocolate cake (that was to die for FYI) free of charge. It was more than enough for the two of us!

we had the same experience last January. We said we were too full for dessert (and we really were!) but when that cake came out of course we couldn't resist. Personally I wouldn't order a whole cake if it's only 2 people. If you know what kind of dessert your mom would enjoy I would try to speak to the waiter secretly at some point to order it and ask them to bring it out with a candle.

You know, that might be my best choice even though it is small since it's just the two of us and that could be her dessert. Who do I call for that?

I was on the Platimun Plan and the girl booked it for me. Maybe you can call Cali Grill Directely.

I know this has been addressed a gazillion times but I have never taken a birthday boy to Chef Mickey's. We are taking my nephew who will be 6 there for his birthday in January. What do we do to get a birthday cake for him at the character breakfast or can you do this?

Delivered to our room at the VWL last week.

Cost: $45 + delivery fee + 18% automatic gratuity + taxes = $60 (well, $59 and some change)
Cake: 10" Chocolate cake with dark chocolate mousse filling and chocolate ganache
Review: Very moist, very yummy! MORE than enough for 3 people. We had this for dessert for 4 days and even had left overs to bring back home.

LOL - I'm glad that was cleared up. If I hadn't seen dozens of other posts referencing the $48 price, I might have felt a wee bit ripped off. And in hindsight, we had so much dessert that week, I think the individual cake would have been enough for all of us!

If I want to order the chocolate slipper, do I use the cake number to order or is there another number? Will I be able to specify white chocolate or milk chocolate? How much will it be? I want to surprise my little great niece with this when we have dinner at 1900 Park Fare. Thank you for your help.

I'd call the GF Bakery - GF Bakery407-824-2474.

I believe that its the white chocolate at 1900 - and then when you check in at 1900 they will give you a receipt for the dessert to give to your waitress - so that supposedly it can be a surprise - it depends on the server since its a buffet sometimes they havent been the best at bringing out the desserts! in my experience -

but its such a WOW dessert - and perfect for 1900 imho!

I posted in the cake thread but no reply. Please help with a holiday cake for our upcoming trip in December:santa:. If anyone can share or post pictures of holiday day cakes that they have ordered. Thank you
