You would have to call them and describe what you are looking for. I'll bet the GF can do that if you get the right person to help you.

No, you cannot customize the mini castle cakes. They are mass produced.

Thank you so much!!

Hello,
Just wondering if it's possible to get a cake delivered to your room at Saratoga Springs resort? We wil be celebrating my DS 5th Birthday. Also he would love to have a Wall E cake.

Thanks

Is it possible to get the zebra cake customized and delivered to our room at AKL? I want to add the Mickey and Minnie print on the heart put on top of the cake. What's the current price of the zebra cake without adding anything to it? Thanks!

I posted this way back on page 16 -
We stayed at AKL in May and I called the resort directly and spoke with In-Room Dining prior to our arrival. I gave them our check-in date and a rough estimate as to the time (not sure that they needed that) and was told that after we checked in they would be notified by the front-desk and our goodies would arrive shortly thereafter. We checked in, got up to the room and then within 15 minutes we got a call to see if we were going to be there for the delivery. If you do this they can put the charge on your resort bill and have you sign for it when they deliver it. Be forewarned that they will have already added a 18% "delivery" charge to the cost of your goodies so if you don't read the receipt you might be tipping twice.

This was what we had delivered:

What is this called? Did you just ask for goodies or cookies or what? It looks great and I'd like to get something like this for my son (he & dil are staying at AKL on our next trip.) Oh, also, what was the price for this? Thanks

Also, does anyone know what the Poly will do? I had thought about the strawberries -

On another note, I've gotten the Cinderella Slipper twice, both times for my b-day at CRT - both times I've requested fresh berries with it and they've done a beautiful job. I'll try to get my pics of that uploaded on here and post them.

It was $53 with the automatic 18% delivery gratuity already added. I didn't read the receipt very well so I ended up tipping twice. It was cute and tasty but not worth $53, or more, in my opinion. When I spoke with In-Room Dining prior to the trip I had mentioned something I saw on here that they had unfortunately stopped making. The lady on the phone called what we got something specific (but I can't remember what it was, sorry) and I'm sure if you mentioned cookies, brownies, chocolate elephant and chocolate AKL sign that they'd get the right thing.

Thank You!!! Wow, that does seem pricey for that!! Maybe I could just get the chocolate bar sign with AKL on it? I'll check it out.

Thanks again!

Wow, that's a huge increase in price!!!

I paid $25 for the chocolate Mickey in the photo in my other post (about 11 posts up) in 2004 at the BWV and then we also picked up a chocolate Donald (Gold painted) at the GF Gingerbread House store in 2005 for only $18. See the photo below.

I am so glad I did not order the chocolate Mickey then because I would have been ripped off :scared1: I just called and spoke with a nice lady from the resort at which we are staying and received information which is simular to the $25 price.

Just called the cake hotline to get through to the CG location and they once again quoted me a different price. This time $48 + tax and on hold to find out the cost of the Tux strawberries. OMG is there a CG surcharge of almost 50% more to have the same topper there?

The Anniversary cake at the GF ~ is that the one with the stamped Mickey heads on the sides? I've been looking through this thread and saw another one that said it was an anniversary cake from the GF and it had marble ganache on it.

We're going in a few weeks and I would love to get the cake with the stamped Mickey heads on the side for my birthday while we're there. Just want to make sure I'm asking for the right thing :)

I really prefer the solid white chocolate toppers (like the Mickey, Mickey/Minnie, Donald and Tinkerbell ones) Are those the only ones available?

Thanks :)

I really want to get this instead of the 6" cake I already ordered from CM for DS's 4th bday. Does anyone know how hard it is to change my order? Will they let me do this? Thanks!

Has anyone had a cake delivered to an All Star room? We are staying at All Star Sports. We will probablybe at the parks, but would love to come home to some cake:)

I had ordered a cake from the ASMu foodcourt prior to our arrival. It was waiting for me at the food court when we checked in. It was a 12" round cake. Chocolate with buttercream frosting. It was really moist and yummy.
As you can see they couldn´t spell "Happy Birthday" though :rotfl2:
And please note: Mickey Mouse did not come with the cake. I had bought him at the Dollar General for $1 and brought it with me :goodvibes
