Just wanted to double-check before I order my cake tomorrow ~

is the anniversary cake at the GF the one they can do with the fondant and stamped Mickey heads?

Thanks :)

We will be celebrating DH's bday while in the world. We're staying at POFQ. Does anyone know if they deliver cakes to the room? Is there anything else special I can do for him? TIA!!!

You may have to pick a cake up. I know there is a significant delivery charge. I believe that info is on the first few pages. I would call boardwalk bakery and see if they can help you? Or call Saratoga Springs directly and see what they can do for you or if they have any suggestions.

There is no standard anniversary cake design at the Grand Floridian, so if you want fondant and stamped Mickey heads, be sure to request them. :thumbsup2

They won't deliver a cake to the room, but you can pick it up at the restaurant there at SSR. As far as I know only the GF charges a delivery fee for cakes going to other resorts. It is significant and is usually for wedding cakes and things like that. I believe the cakes going to SSR are made at the Boardwalk Bakery.

Anyone have any pictures of the 2009 Celebrations cakes yet?
I am interested in the Princess Jewel box cake.
Anyone know what the centerpiece or goodie bags look like yet?

We left WDW on 1/7 and everything was still a year of a million dreams, or holiday. Only sign of WWYC, was a bag we got at DHS on 1/7. I tried to get the room decorations that they talk about a couple weeks ago and the CM had no clue what I was talking about. I dont think they are prepared for the new theme. Half of the CM's did not know how to use the birthday gift card.
I would call and speak to WDW direct. Ask if they can email you a picture.

I'm looking to order a cake for April. I'm interested in the fondant mickey head, but it has to be eggless.. Does anyone know how many that cake feeds, who to call and have a pic of it? Any help would be appreciated.

Just called the cake hotline... its is just me or are they really pushing the Sara Lee cakes??
