UGH.......I am so tired of rain here in WI At least it gives me an excuse to be on my computer

I started assigning desired timeframes for my FP itinerary yesterday. Of course, AK is the big ??? on my plans. I know which rides I want to FP on our two AK park visits but the order and times are still undecided. I am concerned that I should budget 1.5 or 2 hours for the Pandora FPs for JIC scenarios. I am worried it will be crazy crowded causing FP times to be a longer wait than usual. Of course this also gets thrown out the window if my desired times aren't available once my FP window actually opens in June

I'm in the same boat. Trying to decide which rides to FP. I probably won't be too picky with the times, I just don't want them to interrupt my ADR's. It's like a tricky puzzle to get everything to work out just right. I don't think my family realizes how much planning really goes into this. Lol

as always, my trip falls in the latter half of the month, so I always feel like I have an extra long wait, lol. Only once (my most recent trip, in November) was my trip in the first half of the month and it was SOOOOO nice! it was like once November arrived, boom, it was trip time (it was 11/7). But when you don't leave until later in the month, that last month is tooooorrrttttuuuuuureeee!!

I'm still debating whether we should do EMM.....Not only is it our first park day, and first MK day -- it's my bday. I kind of feel like it would be an awesome bday present to myself, and awesome way to start our trip. BUT, we won't be doing 7DMT (DD won't do it), so it's kind of a lot of $$ for just 2 measly rides and breakfast, and I already feel the price is steep for just 3 rides + breakfast.
I REALLY wish they would add some characters, that would totally make the price worth it (in my eyes).

What to do....what to do.........

what do you all think? (it's just me and DD so won't be like I have to dish out HUGE amounts of money.....)

(i think this is probably going to end up being the most costly trip ever ....I can see myself now "oh, I'll just splurge on this purse....a birthday present...."...."oh, i'll just treat myself to this sweatshirt....a birthday present..."

Hmm... I don't think I'd do it if you aren't riding mine train, but if it's your birthday and you think it would be a fun present to yourself, it may be worth it to you. It's your vacation! I'm sure the atmosphere and the feeling of being in a near-empty park in the morning would be awesome. Getting on Winnie the Pooh, and especially PP with no line so you could cross it off the list and use your park regular time for other things would be a benefit. But I think the big draw for most people is getting multiple rides of 7DMT without a long line. I've heard pretty lukewarm reviews about the breakfast - that it's nothing amazing, but it's perfectly good. (Though I haven't done much research on the breakfast because we weren't planning to try it.) But if it were me I don't think I'd find it worth it without 7DMT.

Right. I have done it before (DS was with us so he did 7DMT while me and DD did the other stuff/ate breakfast), and did enjoy the overall atmosphere. I'm just thinking since it will be our first park day we will probably be super anxious to get to the parks as it is, so why not do the EMM and get there 75 minutes early. And we enjoyed the breakfast at Pinocchio Haus just fine........although we're not picky.
On the other hand, they let you into MK early now anyways don't they? (at 8:00 a.m.?) So theoretically, we can still go early (although just hang around Main Street, maybe eat at the bakery, go watch the morning show at 8:45 I assume, and then book it back to fantasyland and ride PP and Pooh first without wasting FPs on them?? And save $150.........
