Okay everyone I am really excited!!!!!

I had accepted and made peace with the fact that we were going to drive.......but this morning we booked airfare!!!!!!!
I couldn't resist the $109 flight down! Our traveling dates are a bit earlier now too.

Now we are booked Aug. 14th - Aug. 29th!!!!! 15 days!!!! First three days at Pop, then 12 days at POFQ.

Which brings me to day 61......I have to make my FP selections at midnight!

Which brings me to day 61......I have to make my FP selections at midnight!

Yay! We did the same thing. I randomly checked one morning to see the prices because before they were just too much and both flights there and back had gone down by $50 there and $75 back (per person). I couldn't pass that up. So I booked. Don't you know the very next day they had skyrocketed again. So glad I looked that day or we would still be driving.

I've spent all day reconfiguring my ADR's. I've cancelled, changed and rescheduled so many that I'm not even sure if I even have an original ADR left since the day I began making them at my 180 day mark in February.

Thanks Gina Did you guys make a reservation when you went to NBA City? And was it on a weekend? Sorry for all the questions lol. Just debating whether I need to for late August. It would be nice NOT to have to have a set time for something! But don't want to get there and be turned away or have a 2 hour wait

I can't remember if we went on a weekend or not (sorry!). I do know that we had no problem getting a table, and we had no reservation . It was nice to be able to walk in and be seated at whatever time we were ready to eat!

Also meant to add....when we were there, CAA and AAA members received 10% off if they showed your card. So if you are a member, be sure to take your card with you.

Hi all

I'm also an August traveller!

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but I've checked two different calculators and they've both given me different days! If I check in onsite on August 18th - what date can I book my FP+ reservations please?

As I'm in the Uk and having to set an alarm to wake me up for 5am, I'd rather not do it twice or on the wrong day!

Woo hoo! We'll be checking into pop the same day
Today I'd the day I decide whether or not to stay up til midnight. I really just wanna get it over with....Decisions decisions!

ETA-I was off by a day, both reading this and in my mind. Sooooo I didn't stay up til midnight. But I did get Anna and Elsa and the mine train just now. All that anxiety over staying up til midnignt on a school night. It figures!

Now I'm pretty blurry eyed but realizing that Maelstrom was never an Epcot option. What's going on? Did I miss a refurbishment announcement?

We are flying from gatwick too - we usually fly with virgin at 11am, but at 11 months out I got a great price with BA, so we don't actually fly until 1pm - hoping arriving later will be ok (we are normally shattered when we get there and this will be 2 hours later again)

HaHa! I stayed up until midnight and it took me about two hours to do 14 days of FP. I kept mixing up my ADR times each day and had to redo several days. . Now I'm pretty blurry eyed but realizing that Maelstrom was never an Epcot option. What's going on? Did I miss a refurbishment announcement?

There is a rumor about a lengthy refurb in August. I was able to get a FP+ for August 14th (and they are also available on the 15th), but it appears to be unavailable from August 16th on--perhaps when the proposed refurb starts.

I will have to make a point of getting to Maelstrom on the 15th. It's one of my favourite rides.

Same here - it's our first park day and we will be in Epcot too. Didn't book FP+ because we booked Soarin as our tier 1!

Crap, I just realized my FPP day is while I'm away on vacation. I know MDX is cumbersome enough on a PC I wonder if its even possible to make them on a tablet.
