I'm so happy I found this board!! I took advantage of the bounceback offer in my room at POR when I was at WDW last week and booked CR with a theme park view from August 20-29! So, so, so excited. Who cares if my trip is 232 days away?!?

That is very exciting to say!!!


Now that we're for sure going this year I can finally look at the Dis without getting the awful feeling of post vacation blues lol!!!

Dh surprised us with a Disney Dream cruise for the last 3 days of our trip so we're soooooooo excited and I'm completely clueless about cruising lol. It appears I have loads to read on here and kinda wish for a cruise expert to be my BFF lol!

Now that we're for sure going this year I can finally look at the Dis without getting the awful feeling of post vacation blues lol!!!

Dh surprised us with a Disney Dream cruise for the last 3 days of our trip so we're soooooooo excited and I'm completely clueless about cruising lol. It appears I have loads to read on here and kinda wish for a cruise expert to be my BFF lol!

I'm here from Aug 2013. We are booked Aug 9-15 but may change it to the departing on the 14th and taking a Disney cruise to the Bahamas on the Dream for 3 nights.

Woo! Those are our dates too (booked bb on last aug trip) but we'll be modifying a bit 20-28 at POR and 28-31 on the Dream!

We (myself and11-year-old daughter) are planning a trip at the end of August. Dates are tentatively the 22-26 (will not be finalized until the 2014/15 school calendar is released. We will be staying at the Beach Club.

Well hello August peeps!!!! It seems we have had quite a few more people join in.

Sorry I have been pretty absent, but with the holidays life has been crazy!!!!

Now that the holidays are over, I am ready to focus on our August planning!!

Hopefully soon we will have the August park hours to post....July is already out. And, all of our ADR dates are fast approaching!!! I will be updating page 1 with all of the where/when's so if you aren't on there, just let me know the dates and resort and I will have that all up to date by the end of the weekend.

You will love DCL. We absolutely loved the Fantasy! Castaway Cay is amazing!

I just customized my magic bands today I am surprised they are giving us new ones since we just got back from a Christmas trip, but I don't want to have anything messed up so I'll take them I LOVED the bands and fastpass plus! It was a pretty relaxing trip since we had the headliners and must do scheduled ahead of time. They were also easy to change last minute!

I haven't tried B&C yet, but we have a reservation there on the 19th of this month. I'm excited to try it!

I am so in we head home to the Pop Century on August 17th a 6am arrival from the west coast aka 3am!! To depart on September 1st, we won't discuss the later bit DD is having her sweet 16 at WDW this year and we hope to bring Mum back again for a 3 generation us girls trip - so ready to come back to the World again!!

I'm from the August 2013 board too. Being a teacher, I don't have that much flexibility in trip time. Summer is usually our go to time of year.

I'm from the August 2013 board too. Being a teacher, I don't have that much flexibility in trip time. Summer is usually our go to time of year.

Our DS graduates high school this June. Its weird knowing we won't be tied to the school calendar after this summer. Once he's in college, we have lots more travel times open to us.....his reading weeks in October and February, an extended Christmas break in December, and then he'll be done classes each year by the end of April-ish. I am thinking 2015 might bring our first May trip ...... but until then, its one more August hurrah!
