If you're going to have a problem, waiting for a Disney vacation is the one to have!
Agreed!

I have been twice. Once when I was really little and they dragged me on the ET ride despite how terrified I am of him. I closed my eyes and covered my ears and still to this day have to sleep with my feet full covered and tucked in because I just picture him coming up the end of my bed like he does out of the basket.QOTD: have you been to universal/IOA before? How many times?
Today was my ADR day, and after a tease yesterday (my dates were already showing up as open for reservations...just a glitch) I was up dark and early and breezed through my 7 reservations in about 10 minutes
I got everything we wanted at the times we wanted, so I'm declaring victory.!
Yay!Discovery Cove is AMAZING!
Have you been there before? Or is this a first visit?
We also adore SeaWorld...this will be our first time visiting in the summer, though (all others have been winter visits). We're in town the same dates as you (ours are August 17th to 31st) so maybe we'll see you there. Are you also planning on going to Aquatica? (free with your DC admission) Its a fabulous waterpark....Roa's Rapids is da bomb
.
When you have your DC day confirmed, pop over to the Roll Call thread on the SeaWorld board and I'll add to you our list:

Now what do I do for the next 120 days until FP+ reservations are open?? LOL!!
Congratulations! That's certainly a victory! Which ADRs did you book? I'm thinking about trying for BOG just to see the inside. It's still difficult to get I hear.
Thanks!!
We have an 8:00am Ohana breakfast, Via Napoli dinner, Sci Fi lunch, Tusker House "brunch" at 10:30, Ohana dinner, 8:00am Crystal Palace and early dinner at BOG.
I used specific times instead of choosing the breakfast, lunch, or dinner options on the reservation page, and I got everything I wanted as far as time slots. I booked BOG for dinner on our last night of the trip and there were all kinds of times available. I did make the reservations for it and CP first, just in case. We plan to have lunch there to see inside, but I really want to see the Beast!!
I mean, um...my kids want to see the Beast. Yeah, that's it...my kids want to...![]()
Ugh...I am on the edge of my seat waiting for our ADR date (Monday!!!)...so in the meantime I am trying to put together some goodie bags for the kiddos (9,13, &16). Anyone else planning on doing this? So far I've ordered some pretty cool water bottles that were on sale at TDS for $7 and I also bought their ponchos since they were on sale for $5. I'm thinking I'll also pack the bags with some cool mist fans, a new Disney tee, a few new pins for trading, and maybe a beach towel as well as some Disney snacks. Oh yeah, and a roll of quarters each for the arcade. Anyone have any other ideas? I could go crazy here, really....I am so excited!![]()
I am thinking of doing something like this for DD. We are surprising her with this trip so I was thinking of giving her the goodie bag in the car (after she finds out) or maybe at the hotel like Tinkerbell left it for her. Not sure yet.
I am also thinking of surprising her with a hard bound photo book of pics of her with the characters from last year and she could use it to get their autographs this year. I think she will love it!
Hi everyone! Just checking in to see how people are doing making their ADRs! I get to make mine on Sunday morning. I am so excited! Love reading about how people did with getting the times they want. Happy planning!

I went online through MDE to book mine and there was plenty of availability for everything I wanted. Even BOG! Speaking of BOG, how do you choose which dining room you want? I was expecting it to be part of the reservation process.
You don't get to choose for dinner. If you have a preference tell them when you check in and they "may" be able to accommodate you.
