****OFFICIAL August, 2012 (PART 2)****

Aw, pigletto.....thank you. You have made my day :goodvibes .

So happy to hear that your Mom continues to be a survivor.....that is so awesome!! What a courageous lady she must be. Its a horrible illness, and completely changes a family (I lost my dad to cancer in 2010). But yet, you have to take something good out of it all....even if its a new perpective on what is really important in life. Which is why we have chosen to travel more. I want to LIVE while I am young and healthy enough to do so. I want to laugh. I want to be surrounded by the people I love in beautiful places. "Things" become less important. People and experiences take top spots instead.

Ya know, someday we will have to meet in the middle and "do coffee". The Timmies will be on me ;) .

Gina, I think both you and Pigletto are awesome. I try to live every day to the fullest and be thankful for each and every one of them. I had thyroid cancer when I was 24 and I'm since a diabetic and have kidney disease. You never know when something can happen to you and you need to enjoy every day you are on this earth. It may not be easy, and some days I ask why me, but truly, I am thankful to be here!

Oh, and to have Team August right there beside me!!!! :grouphug:

One day I would love that!!!:)

My mom is absolutely awesome. This year she got her PHD! We all got up super early and drove to the graduation ceremony so we could be in the first row. All 6 of her children, my dad, my husband ,my brothers wife, and her grandkids. We took up the whole row and cheered like crazy people when her name was called. I can't describe how awesome that moment was.:)

OMG!!! I can just picture that! How Awesome!!!! :cool1:

22 day until we head to Disney. Physically I am still at work but my heart is already there. One thing that I want to really do this year is this, I spend a lot of time on forums, listening to Disney podcasts, checking TP & easywdw and planning every trip and then when we get there I am like we have to go here and be there at such and such time and I find myself getting home and realizing while I am there to really take the time and take it all in and enjoy the experience. We have pleanty of time we will be there for 9 days a 8 nights with 8 day passes with PH's so I am going to make an effort to relax some times and just look around and take it all in. Such as spending some time on Main Street, World Showcase and all the different trails @ AK. I think most of us on this thread are hardcore Disney fans and we get it when it comes to Disney and most of us have been there so many times that we forget why we love it so much. So this year I am going to spend some time (not saying I will not still have my commando moments) soaking it alll in and going back a few years ago(ok a lot of years ago) when I was just a kid and walking hand and hand with my grandma enjoy the experience of Disney. Sorry for my rant just one man's thoughts!

Well thank you, my dear. I happen to think the same of you :goodvibes .

You certainly have had your plate full :scared: . Plus your daughter has had some health troubles too, am I remembering correctly? My mom has always professed that "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". You could enter the next Ironman competition ;) .

Now THAT'S what life is all about!!! What a lady :thumbsup2 . And what an inspiration for those grandbabies.

My goodness we have managed to become philosophical and introspective today (sorry about that, i think I started it :scratchin). I think we all need a vacation! :rotfl2: 23 more days......23 more days...!

Went to CVS and used my 25% off coupon today to purchase items we need to take with us. I also placed my Garden Grocer's order.

Time seems to be going so slowly now that things have quieted down our work post survey. I can't wait to read some reports from those of you who are leaving soon. I'm so jealous!!!

23 more days of work and 26 more days before we leave. I want to leave NOW!!!!!:sad::sad:

I just checked out the Frog Toggs everyone has been mentioning and they are getting awesome reviews from Disers.:thumbsup2

I am tempted to buy a few. There's 5 of us going. Do you think I need to get 5? Maybe 3? Are they the kind of thing you can share or should we really have our own? Not sure I want to spend upwards of 60 dollars on them.

The one I bought is 13 x 33 inches. It can be cut into 2 pieces easily...it even mentions that it can be cut. I think it would be easier to wear if it was smaller.

I ordered my frogg togg yesterday along with body glide off of amazon. That is a good idea to cut that into pieces. Thanks for the idea:)

I can't believe we are leaving this weekend. DH is changing his mind about the time we are leaving. And I already changed one of our ADR's. Instead of Ohana on Saturday we changed to Friday morning at 7:50am. Since we leave Saturday decided to sleep in alittle more. I am actually kind of hoping we leave Saturday evening and drive throught the night. That means I can try to get an ADR at Whispering Canyon Sunday Night. I want to go there but can't fit it in. If we don't that's ok, right now we are suppose to get in around 7 or 8pm Sunday evening.

ARRRGH! 24 hours and I have to work tomorrow!!!! I know I am forgetting something I need to be doing! PANIC!!!!!!!! :crazy2::scared1::scared1:

OMG, I have to share with you all this.
My husband just told me he is getting me a Tiffany Ring for our 5 yrs anniversary (well, I questioned him when I see the hug drop in bank account and I had been freaking out saving for our annual pass upgrade)
I dont know how to say this is a BIG BIG BIG deal for us since we are one income family of 5. I NEVER would dream getting something like that. We never even had our honeymoon or a big fancy wedding (Las Vegas with 10 family members and a buffet afterward)
I had been planning this trip for almost a year now with a lot of crunching and I never thought DH can pull something like that without me knowing it. :dance3:
So Magical already...hehehe

Ladies & Gentlemen A decision has been made. The third time is the charm. Here they are:
