Aw, pigletto.....thank you. You have made my day.
So happy to hear that your Mom continues to be a survivor.....that is so awesome!! What a courageous lady she must be. Its a horrible illness, and completely changes a family (I lost my dad to cancer in 2010). But yet, you have to take something good out of it all....even if its a new perpective on what is really important in life. Which is why we have chosen to travel more. I want to LIVE while I am young and healthy enough to do so. I want to laugh. I want to be surrounded by the people I love in beautiful places. "Things" become less important. People and experiences take top spots instead.
Ya know, someday we will have to meet in the middle and "do coffee". The Timmies will be on me.
Gina, I think both you and Pigletto are awesome. I try to live every day to the fullest and be thankful for each and every one of them. I had thyroid cancer when I was 24 and I'm since a diabetic and have kidney disease. You never know when something can happen to you and you need to enjoy every day you are on this earth. It may not be easy, and some days I ask why me, but truly, I am thankful to be here!
Oh, and to have Team August right there beside me!!!!
