Question- how do you keep your ADrs confirmation numbers? In phone, on paper, emailed to yourself? I have never needed them but of course I do want them incase.

I just everything in the calendar of my phone as an event. In the event description I put the name of the restaurant and the confirmation number. I have an alert to go off 1.5 hours before just to make sure I get there in time

Disney is incredibly easy to navigate...and if you are staying onsite, I think taking 417 from the airport is the easiest route - it's a toll road, so be prepared for that ($2.50-$3.00 depending on which Disney exit you take - good idea to have quarters because some of the exits are exact change only/toll pass booths). But it's very direct and the traffic is generally lighter than other routes.

A very good reminder! We always buy a roll of American quarters before we leave and then we are set. I still have one in my purse from our May trip. We used the roads between the airport and Universal, over to Disney, and back to the airport and I don't think we spent more than 8 dollars or so.
Always stay in the far right lane for cash lanes. It saves you having to rent the transponder from the car rental company and pay those extra charges

I use TripIt. You can sync it to your calendar, there are smartphone/ipad apps and you can use the website. I can add everything I need to know about it all. I love how simple it was to use!

Our trip is 8/16-8/21. We are going to Disney World and Sea World. The last time I was there I was 6 years old. I'm turning 40 in a month. My DH has never been and we are taking our 6 year old DS. I cannot wait!!!

Went to the store today and bought some suckers, gum & snacks for the kids for the plane. I also bought the Groupon for a tandem parasailing at Sammy Duvalls (thanks again for posting that!). I think I officially have everything I need for the trip. Now, I just need the next 27 days to go by quickly!

I'm so excited for those of you going early in the month! Can't wait to hear about your trips!

Just found the cutest Princess And The Frog window clings on Amazon! Figured they were fitting since we are staying in a Royal Guest Room at POR. Picked them up for $4.99 to hang on our window. You would think I have little kids lol

I did find DD a really cute disney T from Kohls for just $5!

I already have over 20 Disney shirts and got more last night at Target. I just can't resist them!

To our great thread! Congrats on the first trip! Please be sure to check out the first Post on this thread and sign up for our team August mickey heads so we can all say "HI" when down in the World. Check out the lists and post those so you can see where other Disers will be on the days you are there also. ADRs and park days. This is a fast moving thread so hold on to your lap bar and enjoy the ride.

Where had i been this whole time? Well, well so many catching up to do.

Here is my list so far. Please let me know if you have any advice since this is our first trip.

What do you think? This plan is create by me solely. (DH doesnt care much, he loves food an whatever I am feeding him is OK)

This trip we will be celebrating my princess 4th birthday on 9/1 and our 5 yrs wedding anniversary also.

Question: I am not sure if anyone ask this yet but how about we have all the DH watch the kids while all the planning Mom took a break and went out for a drink? (sorry, my DH is not involve in any way with this planning, so I think I deserve a break)

& to the DIS and our little slice of it! We are a friendly bunch and talk about anything and everything. We are a very fast moving thead so keep your arms and legs inside the thread at all times.
I love all of your ADRs and it looks like we will be at Sea World on the same day. Keep an eye open for my LGMH (yes I will wear it at Sea World). After Sea World we will be checking into POR so be sure to tell YE Ha Bob I am coming home.



A number of my coworkers nominated me and one of them paid off. I remember how cold it was when the torch came threw MB but that did not stop thousands including me from going out to see it.

I ran in Rosthern SK and had our celebration in Prince Albert one month after it was in Winnipeg and the weather was just perfect.

oh cool, i did not know you could run in other communities, i thought it was all locals. I know ours was a local.

While going over our final plans for our trip next week , I realized I have 1 too many ADRs scheduled. We will only have 6 DDP credits so I need to cancel something. Here is our current schedule:

8/6 - Epcot - Akershus (1) 12:10 & Garden Grill (2) 7:10
8/7 - MK - Crystal Palace (3) 11:40 & Wishes Dessert Party 9:10 (not DDP)
8/8 - non park day - 1900 Park Fare (4) 4:30
8/9 - MK - CRT (5&6) 3:55
8/10 - HS - Mama Melrose (7) Fantasmic Dining Package 12:00

The girls requested CP, CRT and Akershus so I need to keep those for sure. We have never Garden Grill or Mama Melrose and have never seen Fantasmic.

What would you do?
