WELCOME TO THE TEAM AUGUST THREAD!!!

If you're headed to WDW in August 2012, come on in and join the party! We're a very active group and talk like crazy! I think we're all hyper-excited that our trips are coming up so soon. Don't feel intimidated though, we really don't bite and are very welcoming so please jump right in to the middle of the conversation.

Some background: We outgrew our original thread - created & nurtured a year ago by firechick139. Unfortunately, she had to cancel her trip With the way the thread was moving so rapidly, we decided it was time to start "Part 2" and collect all the relevant lists and instructions in the main thread, making it much easier for newbies to navigate and find things quickly.

To make things friendlier and help Team August members plan DISmeets, we have created a few lists and some LGMH (Lime Green Mickey Head). Get yourself added to our lists by posting according to the instructions laid out.

LGMH (Lime Green Mickey Heads)
These are awesome mickey head artwork personalized just for you by our Team August folks. Print them off, cut them out and attach to your bag/lanyard/clothes/hat. Then when you hit the parks, keep your eyes peeled for other Team August members proudly sporting their LGMH and say "Hi"!

We have 2 versions of the LGMH. Choose one or wear both back-to-back! (I love both and will put them in a name badge holder and hook it to my park bag. Alternatively, many will laminate it)

Customized LGMH's available here!!

If anyone wants one just let me know, I can do just about any image for the text background and any name (in any color). They print out to about 9" across but you can usually resize them when you print. Just let me know the name you would like on it and which design you would like.

Hi Everyone!!

Here are my days but they are still up in the air. There may be some more winging it days and a water park or two in there.

8/9- winging it. I saw on the dis somewhere that they decide which park they are going to on the first day by which ever bus comes first. I'm definitely going to try this! Plus, DH will be happy that something won't be "planned" lol.

Not sure who's driving besides us at this point, but I bought a Chip N Dale's Rescue Rangers DVD today at Costco for $10 to add to the DVD's we'll be bringing for the road trip - 27 episodes totaling 614 minutes! They also have Darkwing Duck & Ducktales.

Those were my favourite shows growing up! Disney Afternoon... I will have to look around for those!
