We leave in 12 days and yesterday I did a little pre-packing dry run. I was worried I didn't have enough outfits for my girls and so I got out my gallon size zip lock bags and put an outfit in a bag with a diaper/underwear. I now feel much better about that. We bought a new large suitcase and I think between that and the old large suitcase and carry ons we should just need the 2. That is a relief to my DH he realy did not want to go into a third suitcase. Glad I have someone to share my obsessive planning with. Still have a few last minute items to buy and I need to take those clothes out, iron and repack but I htink I should be good. I am getting very excited. We could use the faimly time.

Yup... very clear. And good advice. although that wouldn't have worked for our cruise because we had land suitcases and sea suitcase. I had both daughters put all their land into one and sea into the other, and DH and I did that too. DS had to put both land and sea in one suitcase as he didn't have anyone to share with ! But that allowed us to only have 1 checked suitcase for each of us. Then, when we arrived, we let RC store the sea suitcases since we were doing land first. If we'd combined it any more than that it would have been chaos as both DD's shared a stateroom (and hotel rooms), DH and I had another stateroom/hotel room and DS share a stateroom/hotel room with his two cousins who flew in from another state.

I'm relieved that we're driving this trip. I can pack 1/2 my stuff in canvas boat bags and satchels if I want. .. I usually do.

POR Aug 26-Sept 4.
It's getting close now. Won't be long until documents come...Yee ha..
We travel light..Carry ons and 1 checked bag. We are a family of 4 and have so over packed over the years. We have this down to a science. You'll find if traveling by plane that the kids are excited about that and really don't do much with the things you pack to keep them occupied. We have two 8 year olds.

You upgraded to POR... from Where? We will be there the 11th through the 19th at the Pop Century. This will be my 13th WDW trip! I see you're coming before free dining. I'm not doing free dining either. I'm hoping to really cut costs and make this trip relaxing... but on the cheap!

I have to make some modifications to my packing list since we'll be spending a little time at the beach prior to our arrival at Disney. I'm not sure what all else this adds to my packing list other than sand chairs?

Just planned this out of the blue for my 18th birthday. The very last of Nightastic actually IS my birthday which is totally cool.

I'm so excited because this was the first trip I got to totally plan myself!

I planned my trip way back in Januray for the 14th-19th. Glad I did too, I was playing around last night and noticed every value was sold out and the only mod I could get was CBR. Looks like its going to be busy!!!

I went in July last year and it was mobbed, but we were staying at Saratoga Springs last year in a 2 bedroom villa. I"m nervous about not having a washer/dryer and a full kitchen or free internet!! Its like camping! $300 gift card!!! We're not getting a gift card? How do you get the gift card? Free dining wasn't available to us because we're a room only booking as we have Annual Passes (which might be why we're not getting a gift card).
